I’d agree with that!
Question: But just to be clear: if border security is accomplished, you can envision some sort of path to citizenship for people who are here illegally.
Rick Perry: Sure.
You mean Cain is now for enticing Mexicans to illegally cross the border with their children to take advantage of free education and instate college tuition? Somehow I missed him saying that. I also missed him addressing a meeting of the racist and traitorous La Raza group. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?
By the way, my "boy" is the Commander in Chief of multiple thousands of Texas Army Guard, Air Guard and State Guard. My "boy"Perry has taken the initiative in securing your 1200 mile international border.
My "boy" was an Air Force Captain and a pilot of C-130's all over the world.
My "boy" Perry is the CEO of the 13th largest economy in the world>
My "boy" Perry is the CEO of a state that created 40% of all the jobs created in America during the Obama recession.
Your "boy" Cain ran Godfathers pizza and give outlandish speeches about doing things he can't do alone as President and waffles on doing things he can do as President.
Your "boy" thinks the 2nd Amendment is a states right issue. I wonder what other of the Bill of Rights is a States Rights issue. Perhaps the 1st Amendment is a states rights issue also.
Your "boy" Cain thinks blacks deserve breaks for simply being black and poor. He says "Empowerment Zones" are great because they are dominated by African Americans (which he claims he doesn't even like to be called but he calls other that)
Your "boy" Cain is a speaker and he tells you what you want to hear.
“...You’re uninformed. Illegals do not get in state tuition. Their children do...”
You have reading comprehension issues.
That is EXACTLY what I said.
You also have issues trying to defend your “boy” Ricky.
Children of illegal invaders, who are not born here, are also illegals.
The same as your "boy".
Strategic fencing, boots on the ground, predator drones.
I know he preaches at a church that invites the likes of Jesse Jackson to preach at their church. I know he believes the government is designed to level the playing field. I know his pastor and his buddy who he sang " Dream the impossible dream" to at his 50th birthday thinks this
let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.
Its not enough to talk about what black folks ought to do, Alexander once said. We have to also look at what government is not doing to ensure fairness and equal opportunity. God is on the side of the least of these. Jesus said the first shall become the last and the last shall become the first.
I know Cain is also for using Government to do this exact thing. I know that is why he uses outlandish claims to rally you but has no details. It's not about governing, it's about drawing you out.
tellin you what you want to hear. Another empty vessel for you to put your hopes and dreams into.
Man I love the idea of Cain.
Not true But If so I guess they are both completely unacceptable. I guess Newt is the only answer.
Someone reminded us of this the other day:
Under our current system, approx. 22% of the sales price of goods is hidden taxes.
So under the current system, people under the poverty level DO pay taxes on purchases, but that tax is hidden.
Under Cain’s proposal, that hidden tax is supposed to go away (mostly).
So instead of the 22% hidden tax, they would be paying a 9% visible sales tax.
Somebody posted a good online calculator for this stuff the other day. Unfortunately I didn’t bookmark it, so I can’t find it now. :-(
Are you saying Perry did not support the "dream" act?
Are you saying that Perry did not address La Raza?
Are you saying that Perry did not say he was for a "path to citizenship"?
Indeed. It's chump change. We need a balanced budget and $600 billion/year for 10 years is not going to cut it.
What do you want?
A balanced budget.
When do you want it?
I want it now.
Sorry. Cain supports the 2nd Amendment but does agree with justices Thomas Alito, Scalia and others that the States can put reasonable restrictions on firearms including restricting ownership by felons and regulating permits to carry. This is also what Perry believes and also what Gingrich believes.
If you're looking for a candidate who doesn't believe the States have the right to put reasonable restrictions on firearms, you will have to look beyond anyone who is now running.
The calculator is:
Spoken like a business man who knows the virtues of down sizing when the company is buried in debt and running in the red. A smaller federal government will get America back on the track of greatness.
The only one accusing him of it is Romney? Really? Clearly, that is a lie as I provided you with a quote right from La Raza Rick Perry himself. So trying to drag Palin into it was incredibly weak, even for you, as was your false claim that Romney is the only one saying it.
La Raza Rick Perry, the pro-ILLEGAL alien candidate, is running for POTUS and should he manage to pull his campaign out of the gutter and get elected he would be in a position to implement amnesty. No thanks.
Nice try though.
This is true. Since he has entered the race, he has proven to almost everyone that he is a terrible candidate. He got to the bottom of the polls the old fashioned way, he earned it.
Six trillion is a good start, but Cain will need both the house and senate to have his back.
