What the UN would so dearly love to prove is that a U.S. Black Op’s dude bent over Qaddafi while he was balled up and whimpering in that drain pipe and popped him behind the ear. That would make their day for sure....

Good Strategy on their part...conduct the investigation so that you can control the outcome of that investigation, especially when the UN was the party responsible for helping the war to escalate. This was made necessary by Russia’s claim that his killing was illegal.
I wonder who has been the pre-designated sacrificial lamb in this one. My bet, some of the dead guys own followers (which shows that even the bad guys have to agree with the action), and it will take until after the elections in Tunesia and Egypt (if there ever are any) before the final results of the investigation - and before the elections in this country.
