Vice President Joe Biden’s statement last week that the GOP’s reluctance to pass the White House’s jobs bill would lead to an increase in rapes and murders was considered outrageous by many.
Biden didn’t back away from his words on Sunday’s broadcast of CNN’s “State of the Union.” According to the vice president, it’s an issue of simple math.
“Here’s what my point is — it is a fact, ever since I wrote the crime bill 20 years ago, we’ve put to rest the notion that if you have more cops, there’s less crime,” Biden said.
“When you drastically cut the number of police in cities, which is happening all across America, crime goes up. That is a fact. Now, they either are going to figure out how to help those cities the way we want to help them, or some other way. But if they don’t get help, crime is going to continue go up. It’s that simple. It’s not an ideological point — it’s not a political point, it’s just a physical reality.”
joe biden and reality are two mutually exclusive concepts.
There is not a Republican dead or alive that Biden could beat.
He can’t even win an argument with himself.
I would vote for Joe Biden, before I would vote for Romney.
Biden is too stupid to do too much damage.
It is just about true that Obama cannot beat any live Republican but that is no excuse to nominate Romney and make it close.

He won’t run in 2016. That would put him in competition with Obama trying to get his job back from Cain.

I keep wondering what the Democrats will do for a sequel once the Republican ham sandwich wins in 2012.
Actually, if there were that many cops there’d be no crime. There’d be no freedoms either.
But, as for Biden, I don’t think the number of cops decreases crime. It just increases arrests. jmho

Why are you bring Mitt into this? Why did you bring him up - why is he on your mind? Get your candidate to do his job and get him off the panel of candidates.
I would call Biden a horse’s ass, but why give horses a bad rap?
