Most that do have their kids in public school have no other choice, however. Whether due to lack of money for private schools or lack of education for home schooling. I wouldn't be so quick to judge your fellow conservatives. And no, I am not one who has kids in public school.

If you willingly send your children to public school, you are not a conservative.

I went through incredible personal hardship and sacrfice to homeschool my kids. I also tutored other home schooled kids; and lived in penury to do so. It was worth everything to me to save them from the maw of government skrewels. Unfortunately when they were adolecents as a divorced mother I could no longer afford it and the results were that they were “Screweled up” quite a bit from public schools. I look back with regret, I could have figured out some way to make it work.

There is not one single thing more important, as a parent, than to safeguard one’s children from bad influences, and give them good influences. ANd public skrewels are the worst of the worst influences.

That is why I used the adverb “willingly.” It iimplies that they have another option.
