Prosor: 'Absurd' How Little Arabs Give to PA
Arutz Sheva ^ | 24/10/11

Ron Prosor, Israel's UN ambassador, on Monday sharply criticized Arab states for their failure to support the Palestinian Authority. Prosor said that the only foreign countries – other than Israel – that supported the PA financially were the U.S., France, and Britain, despite their dealing with their own financial problems.

Meanwhile, he said, “Arab countries, awash in money and oil, are responsible for only 20% of international aid to the PA. This is an absurd situation. The total amount of donations by the Arab world to the PA was about half of what the Saudi prince spent on a private plane,” Prosor added. He was speaking at a session of the UN Security Council.

Maybe that's because Israel, France, Britain and the US are being taken for fools? Or maybe the PA is all just a glorified shakedown, and the aforementioned countries are well aware of it.

What’s really absurd is how the west allows itself to be conned into throwing even a wooden nickle down ratholes of this nature.

Why should the Saudis help the Palestinians, when stupid infidels in Europe and America will drain their finances to the bone to do it for them?

Another good question: How much have the Arabs helped out Palestinian refugees over the years and given them homes?

Sometimes I think the Muslims produce refugees deliberately. Then Europe, America, and Israel send over charitable NGOs to take them in, and find themselves with a built-in intifada working from within.

Obama’s very busy helping out with that right now. But Bush and his predecessors were only too happy to help, too.

Although highly lubricated by oil wealth the rich oil states are smart tightwads.

Why should they pay a dime?

It is “normal” for the Western democracies to send aid and assistance to those who need it.
How about looking into the “intentions” of the Arab Bloc?
The oil rich “bloc”, awash in petro-money cannot allow the PA to become an economically successful, peaceful, contented society, by intent. It is the conditions these people are forced to remain in that fuels the irrational hatred for a certain neighbor.
I believe, in these past decades of human tragedy and turmoil, the single and ONLY group that did not, but purpose, come to the human and financial aid of their own are the Arab countries.
In the aftermath of WWII, Europe was awash with people of varying ethnicities, striving to return “home”. They returned and were assimilated and prospered. Israel was founded, once again, and opened its doors to its own ‘huddled masses.” So did Germany, Poland, France, all of Europe. South Korea absorbed those who could flee the North.
Only the Arabs have kept their “own” in a deliberately permanent state of “REFUGEE”. Nice, huh?
