Is this legal? Imagine if Nixon (or any other Republican) had done this.

Is he still receiving royalties on the book?

I assume he is, and if so, should this not be a conflict of interest?

High School libraries where it will be required reading just before graduation (just prior to turning 18)

This also smells of kickbacks, and taxpayer-financed price supports for O’s book

“The structure and the presidency of the United States is an integral component of representing the United States overseas,” Mr. Clay said. “We often use books to engage key audiences in discussions of foreign policy.”

Mr. Clay is a bald-faced liar. $70,000 of my money was spent by these sycophants to kiss up to the boss, and there is nothing more complicated involved here. Somebody at State should be fired for this; instead, they'll be promoted.

Out of control administration (what next?).

.......”A review of the expenditures in a federal database did not reveal any examples of State Department purchases of books by former Presidents George W. Bush or Bill Clinton. The purchases of Mr. Obama’s literary work mostly, but not always, took place in the months after Mr. Obama captured the White House.

Leslie Paige, a spokeswoman for Citizens Against Government Waste, a watchdog group, said if the federal government is looking to cut costs, eliminating purchases of Mr. Obama’s books is a good place to start.

“It’s inappropriate for U.S. taxpayer dollars to be spent on this,” she said. “This sounds like propaganda.”

Why did we (the taxpayer) have to pay ANYTHING for this printed toilet paper? Shouldn't the narcissist and chief have just given it to whoever for free.

Whenever I think the kenyan in the White Hut can't sink any lower.... BAMMM!!! , he comes out with something like this. What a national embarrassment.

“more than $70,000 worth of books”

Each book is “worth” about a penny. That would be about 7 million books? Sheesh.

Many college professors love to write “new” editions of their books and insist that students can only use the new ones; effectively establishing a racket to keep the royalties coming in for old prof. (Hey, retirement isn’t cheap.) You can bet that all of these libraries may have to order new printings with “key revisions” of his book in the future.

I am old enough to feel like I have seen it all, but just when I think I have seen the last new horror from Obozo and his crowd they surprise me with something even more outrageous.

And their arrogance is beyond all imagination. They cannot seem to understand why we despise them for their abuses.

But then all Commies Lie. It is in their DNA. They all Lie, Steal, Subject and murder. With no remorse until they are overthrown.
