Either Michael Moore movies aren’t that profitable for him, or he’s having a real identity crisis.
During a live made-for-cable-television town hall event on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” Tuesday, Moore discussed the plight of those hurt by the current economy. When asked by host Piers Morgan to admit that he was a part of the so-called “1 percent,” the enormously successful liberal filmmaker and author flatly denied it.
The IRS reports that the top 1 percent of income-earners make a minimum of $343,927 in annual adjusted gross income.
“Of course I’m not,” Moore said. “How can I be in the 1 percent? No, that’s not true. I do really well. I do well, but what’s the point, though?”

Considering that his films have made several hundred million at the box office, owns several exclusive properties in Michigan and New York City, I’d say he’s doing pretty damned well.

If we agree that he has amassed 50 million in cash after buying whatever other toys he required, and if he only earns 2% interest, that is 1 million dollars per year. You can’t have it both ways, Mike. Either you are a lying turd or you are in the 1%. Actually; I’m kidding, you can have it both ways.
Let’s check the box office of Michael’s major theater-released movies. Remember, he was producer, director, writer and star, so he got a good chunk of the gross.
Capitalism: $17 million
Sicko: $36 million
Fahrenheit: $222 million

These celebrity endorsements for this Commie love fest is really taking it’s toll. Having Russel Simmons, Russel Brand and his bubble headed GF, assorted rappers and the other millionaires roll in for street cred makes them look even more like a bunch of saps and the general public just laugh at them.

I credit her with a little common sense. Once she sees the impact for her bottom line, that marriage will no longer be made in heaven.
The road way of celebrity is littered with has been hack comics and bubble gum pop stars who's time ends. They will probably ride the elevator together to the ground floor of obscurity and not even notice till it is too late. The first stop on the way down is injecting yourself into fad political movements searching for relevance. Next stop, selling off assets.
As big of a pig he is he must be at least 5%.
