President Barack Obamas Energy Secretary Steven Chu has agreed to testify about failed solar company Solyndra before congressional investigators on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. The hearing, according to committee staff, will be on November 17.
Solyndra received a $535 million loan guarantee from the Department of Energy and taxpayers are burdened with that cost since the solar panel manufacturer went bankrupt.
We appreciate Secretary Chu making himself available and look forward to hearing his testimony on DOEs involvement with the half-billion dollar loan to Solyndra, Energy and Commerces Oversight and Investigations subcommittee chairman Rep. Cliff Stearns said in a statement. We hope he will finally provide answers about why DOE consciously ignored the direct warnings from their own experts that Solyndra was doomed to fail, and granted the loan to Solyndra.

Pass the salt and butter
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Guess they got all their ‘stories’ put together.
Yep. Deny Deny Deny. - Can’t remember... ‘Don’t know.
No, it doesn’t make you fat....only the butter does.
But who the heck eats popcorn without butter...and lots of it?
It is easy to be confident when you have the entire propaganda machine of the DemocRATs behind you.
Ever try maple syrup? :) hehehehe
Yes. I’m old fashioned. I must have butter (lots) and salt. Anything else is ewwy to me!
I was told that one cannot refuse the subpoena, but you don't necessarily have to show up.
3 branches - executive, legislative, judicial.
The legislative branch subpoenas you, you can tell them to pound sand.
It’s eaaasy, Cho... just do like Napolitano and Holder and answer...”I dunno, I dunno, I dunno...”
“”Geez. Does all this popcorn make a person fat?
Pass the salt and butter “”
Skip the butter!!!
Does this 535 million dollars make my butt look fat?
It sure isn’t peanuts.
I can hear it now: ‘I don’t know’...’Not that I was aware’...’I will get back to you in writing’.
