Hillary Rodham Clinton is emerging as the most formidable non-candidate candidate heading into the 2012 presidential election.

A new Time magazine poll shows Clinton easily defeating the major Republican candidates, were she somehow to become the 2012 Democratic nominee for president, according to USA Today.

Clinton leads Mitt Romney, 55 percent to 38 percent; Rick Perry, 58 percent to 32 percent; and Herman Cain, 56 percent to 34 percent, among likely voters in a general election.

People naturally gravitate to their own race. It’s basic human instinct. Blacks will vote for Cain.

Cain would not do much better than any of the other Republican candidates.

Recent experience of black conservatives supports your assertion. Black conservative candidates have bombed in almost every election such as Ken Blackwell in Ohio and Michael Steele in Maryland. Herman Cain may perform better if he can withstand the overwhelming attacks by the left. I think that most blacks will view Herman Cain about the same way that they view Clarence Thomas, a traitor to their race.

Hillary will be Obama’s VP pick next year.

They know it will be close, so they have to reinforce the Useful Idiot Vote.

Great, just freekin’ great. We would trade one idiot for another.

This is one thing that scares me when people trash Obama too much. Sure, he's incompetent, power-hungry, a liar, and wrong on virtually everything, but is he really any worse than Hillary, Harry Reid, Pelosi, or your favorite liberal at work? I'm afraid people will say "Obama was a horrid president" and then vote in the next socialist. A large percentage of people don't understand political philosophy. Spread the education.

Poll breakdown:

republicans polled: 3

dimocrats polled: 500

Idiots polled: 1,000

If this nation is that STUPID to put THAT woman in the White House, this nation deserves to be flushed down the toilet of history.

She is just as much a Marxist as he is. The difference is she would’ve taken a slower slope to ruin this country. But, make no mistake about it - she is just as power hungry as he is.

Haven’t Americans gotten their fill of the Clintons yet? I can’t believe the stupidity of the American people.

The irony of this is that a great many blacks are Christians, and yet they continue to vote year in and year out for the candidates who murder unborn babies. I heard a minister preach on this not too long ago. I hope it opened some eyes - probably not - it’s just sad.

Nonsense. They would cross and vote for Cain.

And your evidence for this other than wishful thinking? The facts are that black Republicans pretty much do just as awful as any other Republican in the black community. From Ken Blackwell to Michael Steele to Lynn Swann, the black community flat out does not support black Republicans. They vote Democrat. Period. There is no reason on earth to think Cain would do any better. These people hate pretty much all black conservatives with a passion. Ever heard how blacks talk about Clarence Thomas or Condi Rice on black radio? Listen some time, as another poster said - blacks consider black conservatives to be race traitors.

Yeah and the 2010 mid-terms had no meaning what so ever.

The last election showed us, again, that Republicans will vote for conservatives of any color. What it most certainly did NOT show us is that blacks will vote for black Republicans.

Cain would be demolished in the black community no different than Ken Blackwell, Michael Steele, Lynn Swann, Allan Keyes, etc. Blacks are voting for government handouts and benefits first and foremost, race is very secondary.

Blackwell, Steele, Swann, etc were all bad candidates. Give blacks a good black candidate to vote for and the results would be different.

In a choice between O and Clinton, one is best off jumping from a high bridge. I’m afraid that the political fabric of this country is so torn it cannot be repaired.
