Romney, 62, is “the kind of person that the Boy Scouts can and are very proud to claim as one of our own,” DeVos said.
The Press asked Romney what scout rank he attained during his stint in the organization. He wasn’t sure.
“I think I know, but I don’t want to say without checking,” he said.
That was kinda dumb remark since the Republicans have taken over Michigan government.
Did the former Mass. Governor tell the Scouts that “The State” controls their bodies?
Building character? Mitt’s the ideal shovel ready project for that :-)
Mittens likes to use the Boy Scouts as a campaign prop but it’s just the kind of slimy politics he’s mastered.
Starting during the Clinton Administration (the name Roberta Achtenberg ring a bell?) the Boy Scouts have come under relentless fire by the Democrats and their newsrooms for rejecting the idea that they, the Boy Scouts of America, should welcome homosexual scout leaders into the fold and let them take little boys off into the woods. Boy Scouts leaders don’t think this is such a good idea. Naturally, Massachusetts Mittens sides with the homo activists.
Here are a couple of columns from 10 - 12 years ago about the Boy Scouts being turned away by Mitt Romney and the Olympic Committee for volunteer work on the Salt Lake Olympics. The Boy Scouts had just won a Supreme Court case (in June of 2000 the Supreme Court ruled that the BSA was a private organization that could choose whoever they wanted as scout leaders and could therefore reject sodomites) and the Democrats/homos were still ticked off about it. Naturally, Massachusetts Mittens can always be counted on to pander to the homo activists, so he gladly came up with a lame lie of an excuse for turning the Boy Scouts away.
What rank did Romney obtain while serving in the military?
Bishop Romney - Forever showing his disdain
for American children, women, and blacks

Q: What’s the difference between government and Boy Scouts?
A: The Boy Scouts have responsible, adult leadership.
I made it to Life before enlisting at 17.
My son is a 1st class, ready for Star at the age of 15.
He has plans to make it all the way to Eagle.
Scouts have proven leadership training that has stood the test of time in bringing about a stronger America.
That explains why the Dim’s are so scared of them.
