It won’t take long to turn our military into just a larger version of the Dutch Army, complete with a union, transvestite troopers, and an elite Bicycle Corps.
Pretty soon they will give the option of civilian clothing while on duty.

This could get ugly. It smells like pre-GWOT, garrison Army stuff starting to come back now that the GWOT is (prematurely) winding down.
The only reason I don’t start howling at the moon in protest is b/c this SMA is the guy who killed the beret in ACUs, so he obviously has some common sense.

Yep. Saw them in Kosovo. Would not have recognized except they were armed.
I don't believe the Dutch army has won a war since the War of the Palatine Succession ended in 1697.

The comment was towards the policy which the political leaders made and not towards the military members who are serving.
