Good for her. If I was in charge of overseeing California’s budget, I’d probably be shooting up heroin just to dull the pain.

Somehow I don't think she was drinking to dull the pain. These bureaucrats don't care about anyone but themselves.

No doubt she’s been doing this every night for 20 years, but now they’ve decided to enforce it.

The way things are currently structured, every man, woman and child will eventually have a DUI.

It no longer strictly involves booze, it no longer involves a lot of booze.

DUI now encompasses all legal and illegal drugs and medications, including over-the-counter and beverages anybody of any age can buy at any 7-11 or Starbucks.

Welcome to Amerika.

As Ronald Reagan said, “You are doing a disservice to drunken sailors. Drunken sailors spend their own money.” Liberals, on the other hand, are generous all the way to the bottom of someone else’s wallet.

I know people make mistakes, but this goes to judgement. And if she is prone to bad judgement like this in her personal life, whereas she could have definitely afforded a cab on her $175,000 a year salary, she chose to put herself and others in harms way. Makes you wonder about judgement calls she might be making on the job as well.
