My thoughts exactly. This should be a priority with some Senator to find out just exactly whose orders she was following.
I couldn't agree more. This kind of thing has to be stopped and until people are willing to speak out against religious discrimination will continue. It matters not the religious beliefs of a deceased military member, they have the right to be buried with their preferred religious service.
After five months of litigation, the government chose to act.

For that to be true all VA cemeteries would have been doing the same thing and there would be written orders over a signature that could be examined and the originator would be known.

This really was a non issue except for one cemetery and one person. Over the past 3 years I have participated in several dozen military funerals at National Cemeteries in 2 state and DC and God, Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father etc were used at all times.. That anyone thinks that veterans burying a friend are going to accept being told they can not mention God has little knowledge of veterans!
“Just following orders” That excuse did not work for the Nazis at the war crimes, and it does not work in this case either.
All that it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. Glad someone stood up for common sense!

If you are referring to “her” as this absolute waste of air and space, I vehemently dissagree with you...
She needs to be shown the street...Right now...
Note that I was calling her a prevaricator with out calling her a prevaricator. When it is only the VA cemetery that she is in charge of where God was banished then she is the only one responsible and yes should be fired and permanently banned from any government job.
With a little further thought, she deprived citizens of GOD given rights. She deserves prison time for those actions.
