The government(Democrat Economic Policy) could just spend more to increase the GDP. The rich 1% could pay more, and the poor 99% can get more cash hand-outs for consumption, being their saving is being spent this quarter(could that be in preparation for winter?), as higher taxes on the private sector will produce a smaller private sector and less jobs.

Personal income was up because government jobs are the only ones that are growing... and they earn TWICE the amount of money that the private sector does... and abc reported yesterday, that ALL of this consumer spending was coming directly out of savings and being spent on necessities for the family... no luxury items... no big cars... no new house... underwear and washers etc... things people must have when they wear out. Our government and their economic terrorists are just lying to all of us... will you continue to fall for their ponzi scheme?

What a load of BS. Our income has dropped over $525 in the past 2 years due to more taxation. Our medicine co-pays have jumped, and we are getting socked in 2012 with a $200 up front fee, and in 2013 with a $295 up front fee, all before 0’care takes full effect.
