A top aide to President Barack Obama expressed frustration Friday with his fellow Democrats as well as Republican members of Congress for resisting the White House's domestic agenda.
The comments by Obama's chief of staff William Daley, made in an interview with the Politico newspaper, could add to tension that has arisen between Obama and some congressional Democrats.
On the domestic side, both Democrats and Republicans have really made it very difficult for the president to be anything like a chief executive, Daley told Politico. This has led to a kind of frustration.
Some Democrats have been unhappy with Obama's handling of this year's budget battles, viewing him as having been too willing to compromise with Republicans on their demands for spending cuts to cherished social programs.

Well Bill, the problem is that no one trusts Obama since he lied before about the first stimulus.
So is the story now to blame Congress and say it is broken and a crisis and now we have to get rid of congress?
“We have to get rid of the Constitution to save the Constitution”
is this what they are doing now?
...for resisting the White House's domestic agenda.Apparently Grima Wormtongue didn't get the memo:
"All politics is local." -- Tip O'NeillThe 2010 election? We won. A-hole.
Lol the czar has no clothes. Just wait... Your policies have awakened the enumerated powers. Tragic, that Constitution, huh? We the people are just warming up!
“. . . .both Democrats and Republicans have really made it very difficult for the president to be anything like a chief executive . . . “
His lack of real world experience and his inattention to the details of his job are keeping him from acting like a chief executive, not to mention his disdain for the Constitution.
Perhaps Bill Daley should also recognize Obama’s job as chief executive is to execute the laws of the United States. Congress is doing nothing to keep him from executing the laws of the nation. In fact, he and his administration are deliberately choosing which laws to enforce and which not to enforce in direct violation of his oath of office.
Well, Bill is used to the rubber-stamping aldermen and business-connected bootlickers back home in Chicago towing the Daley line. Must be tough.
The Obozo administration cannot even put together a realistic budget. The only one they presented in three years was rejected by the Democrat party controlled Senate 97-0. What a joke.
You’re not on Chicago turf anymore Billy. Ha ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha ha Ah did um fellow Dems step on him widdle feelins? Ha ha ha Ha ha ha!!!!
Minor correction....hope you don't mind!!!
