Whiz Elizabeth Warren a little short on Street smarts

Have you noticed how, for someone who’s supposed to be so smart, Elizabeth Warren surely makes a lot of stupid statements?
She teaches at Harvard Law School, so she must be very intelligent, right? Just like Barack Obama, the Harvard Law grad who thinks there are 57 states, that they speak Austrian in Austria, can’t spell Syracuse and believes that Navy “corpse-men” are very brave.
Of course we all know why Barack Obama was admitted to Harvard Law School. What exactly is Elizabeth Warren’s excuse?
Here was what she said in Western Massachusetts this week:
“You know you’re not as landlocked as some parts of the state.”
Western Mass. is not landlocked. Who knew? No one bothered to correct her, because you can always tell a Harvard man (or woman), but you can’t tell them much.
“Uh, you have real opportunities. You’ve got all the right natural resources but we’ve got to make sure we’ve got the right infrastructure, that the pieces are there so that somebody who’s got a good idea for a business says Western Mass. is a good place to put it.”
Is that supposed to be profound? That’s just moonbat filler, that reference to “infrastructure.” I’m surprised she didn’t mention “investments,” too. The lights are on, but nobody’s home. More evidence: Her statement earlier in the week that she had provided the “intellectual foundation” for Occupy Wall Street.
What intellectual foundation? Riots, rapes, robberies, sexual assaults, naked vagrants armed with knives, ugly anti-Semitism, death threats to the Boston cops ...
“I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do,” the $372,000-a-year mouthpiece told the Daily Beast. “I support what they do.”
You don’t say. Of course, that was earlier in the week. By Thursday, in Newton, even Queen Elizabeth had come to the conclusion that perhaps she had put her foot in her mouth again.
“What I meant to say was I’ve been protesting Wall Street for a long time now. ... The Occupy Wall Street movement is organic.”
Organic — what exactly does that word mean, in this context? I do know that where the city fathers have taken away the hippies’ port-a-potties, as in Charlotte, there’s an increasing amount of fragrant organic material on the ground. You don’t want to step in a pile of it.
Then there was her earlier statement about how she was going for the “hick vote.” You can cut her a little slack on that one, since she is a carpetbagger from Oklahoma — a hick herself. But do you think she’d ever make a joke at the expense of any other “community”?
I can hardly wait for Liz’s first Patriots [team stats] tailgating party. It may be the first time she actually meets anybody from Massachusetts.

Elizabeth Warren will surely corner the Obnoxious Patronizing Cambridge Liberal votes. Good God, just listening to that one sound clip Howie played this week had me swearing at the radio. She’s the female John Kerry—ignorant, arrogant and oh-so smug.

It’s only a matter of time before she’s “speaking truth to power.”
Overall, she gives me the creeps!
And of course other liberal-isms include “investments” which means higher taxes and wasteful spending, and “I support working families” which means “I support NON-working families”. More welfare. More free health care and free
(or what amounts to free) tuition for illegals.
I grimaced when I heard MA gov candidate Christie Mihos (ran once as an independent, once as a Republican) use the “speaking truth to power” phrase. For someone who wanted to
deal with crap like the Big Dig overspending mess, that phrase made him sure sound like a moonbat.
Democrat politicians don's speak "truth to power." They speak "power to truth."
That’s it, “schoolmarmish.” But I see it differently—she talks to other adults as if THEY are third-graders, and have to have every simple concept explained to them. It’s right there in her ‘clarification’ of her “I inspired Occupy Wall Street” spiel. “No, you stupid person, now I will explain what I REALLY meant,” she seems to be saying, as she completely alters her original meaning.
Actually, I think "working families" is code for union families -- especially public sector unions, being as the trade unions still actually do some useful work (when they're not striking or beating up Tea Partiers or Occupying). The welfare types are "the poorest among us"! The non-unionized peons working in the private sector are beneath notice, and of course private sector executives spend all their time eating bon-bons, drinking their lunch, and grinding the faces of the poor -- oops! that's "working (union) families" and "the poorest among us"! ;-)
Yeah, like those in Newton, they really care beyond the (D) after a candidate's name.
I know, I know, the sound bite is for the consumption of people that only occasionally, think about the qualifications a candidate might have, not the Barney Frank moon bats, or people that are pretty sure a pet rock as a MA US Senator would do less damage to the country than Q.E.
BTB, I saw on the weekly cooking thread that Nov 1 is National French Fried Clam Day. Will Howie acknowledge it?

So what if even Fat Matt Amorello could have come up with a more believable story.
And by the way, at the end of Matt’s final pub-crawl/demolition derby in Haverhill, his car didn’t look like nearly as totaled as yours. Your “undercover” vehicle looked like Anwar al-Awlaki’s after it was hit by the Predator drone in Yemen.
Of course you were on a fact-finding mission — OK, maybe a doughnut-finding mission — at 5:30 the other morning.
It was the black ice, not a bad ice cube, that made you spin out of control. After all, your friends in the state police, the ones who contribute so much to your campaign coffers, gave you the Breathalyzer, and you blew 0.00, and I don’t care if they are refusing to release it, I accept it as fact.
And so does ex-Sen. Galluccio.
Too bad we don’t have some video of your post-crash demeanor though. I have this feeling that you’d have been acting a lot like Gov. Rick Perry was a week ago tonight in New Hampshire.
Listen, this could have happened to anyone. You wake up around 4 a.m. in a house with at least three other people present. You manage to get out of the house and into your car without waking anyone up. And then you hit the road for Sterling, of all places, looking for a cup of java and a Herald.
We’re all somewhat perplexed by that claim of yours. Number one, have you ever heard of these new drip-coffee makers? Actually, they’re not so new anymore. They started out with Mr. Coffee and now you’ve got your one-cup Keurigs. Makes a damn good brew.
As for the Herald, we appreciate you wanting to spend a buck to buy one off the newsstand, but let me let you in on a little secret. After midnight, you can read tomorrow’s edition online. You didn’t have to take your life into your hands to get the latest update on Julian Edelman, who is to the New England Patriots [team stats] what you are to state politics.
Barely known, except by the real fans.
Actually, the news guy on my radio show referred to you as “Tim McMurray.” I guess he thought you were one of Fred McMurray’s “My Three Sons.”
Another thing, Tim. What’s up with the explanation that you were out in the dark surveying the storm damage?
Why not just wait until your state cop shows up at 7? He could have put the phone book on the front seat and you could have sat on it as the cop drove you around.
I mean, you live out in the devastated area — National Grid Land. You should have been haranguing these utility people all week instead of prowling around for a jelly doughnut.
I wish you’d have agreed to come on my show to take calls from your constituents for an hour or two. My studio in Brighton is your kind of place — a Keurig machine and plenty of Heralds.
We’d have even found a telephone book for you to sit on so you could reach the desk.
