"Why didn't she run for queen?"

It serves a very important function: The ultimate statement of legitimization of her chosen lifestyle. It will be said that she is indeed a "male", which seems completely odd (no pun intended) due to most homosexuals being drawn to the SAME sex, not the opposite. Weird indeed.

It’s the schools

and the mothers more than anything to be frank

the men are now weak and do not run their homes much more in white suburbia or white middle class in GenX or Y...not like in my age group

I am a 54 year old daddy with boys 5,9 and 11 in public schools in arguably one of the whitest most conservative voting counties in the US (Williamson TN...much like Forsyth in GA) and yet what I see and deal with day in and day out how even conservative younger families behave today is troubling...very troubling...the structure has collapsed and many of the men are sissies..and no one will speak frank on hot topics except in hushed tones looking over their shoulders

it is breeding weak men and homosexuality and just a basic inability to hold up cultural norms and mores that keep us from disintegrating

some here applaud this..not I

one more little note from my usual Sunday rant...my pardon.

last night my 11 year old went to his school Halloween dance but being secular these nutbags won't call it that since they think that refers to All Saints or something religious..they call it Witching Hour dance or something silly though most parents call it Halloween..same silliness over Winter Break (gag) too

anyhow..the instructions were to drop kids off at back round up door and let them go in by themselves with staff supervising them

probably 300 kids there...

I was the only one who did that though I did have to park to chase him in and give him his rose for his “date”..no not real date...they just mooneye each other

anyhow...most were moms and they insisted on parking and walking their 11,12,13 year old into this school sponsored dance...some even holding their hands with their little darling...man I woulda been mortified...how will these boys ever mature?

I was amazed...toss on top of that...the schools also encourage tattling...bigtime

Moms will not stay off the practice or game field anymore either while dad holds the baby...it is nuts

Where I live is a cross section..probably 40% Yankee, 40% Southern to some degree and 20% Kali or foreign..Nashville metro is very mixed now...not southern hardly at all

but I'm not sure this is a regional issue so much...I think parenting and the culture has destroyed young men

as I left I thought...where will we get a decent officer corps?

I already know where our fighters come from..ever more rural

I don't blame the women so much..I blame the men..wusses

`Lesbianism: It’s Not Like In the Movies’

Like `single motherhood’: It’s tough to live like a trendy Hollywood starlet if you’re working at Wal-mart, a convenience store and McDonalds part-time to try and pay the bills and day care, while seeing your kids a few hours a week.

“I don’t blame the women so much.. I blame the men”.

Blame both, wardaddy. It has to be both parents. A mom still has the responsibility after giving birth (or adopting) a baby boy to raise him as a MAN. Not a weak, sissified, girly man but a MAN. There isn’t anything wrong with dropping off an 11 year old at the door. To hold their son’s hand is BEYOND my comprehension since my son stopped holding my hand when he was in kindergarten (to appear more masculine to his playmates). It didn’t hurt my feelings since it wasn’t about ME. It was about him becoming more masculine.

Now.. as for Moms at sporting events. Okay, I’m guilty. I yell and support the team in the most unladylike way. “Smash them” is a common phrase. “Sack the quarterback!” is another. I will try to do better.

Antonio Gramsci won in the end, at least in the last century’s tally up until the present. Next century is up for grabs, but not looking good for the Northern European team. The only hope is that adversity via hard times and conflict will uncover a latent toughness plus intelligence that will make our team a winner again.

Ummmm. Bit lost. Is there actually a song about someone having a detachable penis? It looked as if you were replying to comment #17.

I disagree. I blame my fellow ‘moms’ more. Its STILL all about ‘them.’

Really...for the most part they are over wrought, over stressed, over worked, and noticing they are ‘over’ their prime. They were told they could ‘have it all’ but instead of ‘all’ they have little ‘bits’ of it. Some moms I know view their sons (and their friends) as their buds. Its was cool to dress (wildly inappropriately) like teen girls and relive their own MS and HS lives (this time they are ‘popular’ because they do the driving; provide the party house. Our recent HS Homecoming? Party limos; Vegas quality dresses. Hair and makeup professionally done AND photos of ‘mom’ and her ‘kids’ (actual child plus multi limo friends) that THEY post on THEIR FB pages.

Parental neediness equals really messed up kids.

We specialize in being on the cutting edge of lunacy in Cali. Funny that I thought San Diego was a bit more sensible than here in Upper Aztlan.

I don’t mind them calling it the Witching Hour dance.

But, a school dance? At eleven years old? And, they moon-eyed each other?

Really?

Gosh...when I was that age, all I wanted to do was play sports. Being a girl, little did I know that my sports career was over the next year. Boys were my best friends...not someone to “moon eye”.

Who do you suppose decided that 11 year olds need a place to moon eye each other?

Boy...things have certainly changed.

/old lady

As to your point about Moms, I have been concerned for quite a few years that women, because of the feminist movement, have taken over to the point where boys/men don’t have the opportunities they should have, and have been relegated to the back of the bus, so to speak.

I’ve seen this in my own daughter’s education. Women have been getting preferential treatment for far too long, and to the detriment of young men and boys.

You can blame men all you want, but as one who fought against those who told me I had to be Super Woman who would have it all with a career, and a family, and be able to juggle all of that and have some “me” time, as well...I call bogus!

I don’t blame men. They have been beaten into submission.

My boys are raised as alpha types...guns, ktms, etc

the oldest one will have to be watched

this was not a dance like Homecoming or something

it’s Middle School...twice a year...a DJ and kids with refreshments

I went to one at the old YWCA on North State at 11 and yes...by then I had “kissed a girl”...in dim light listening to Gary Puckett or the Grass Roots no doubt

I later dumped her for another whimsically...she was most beautiful at Southern 7 years later and when I approached her she sneered at me and informed me it took her years to get over that 6th grade dumping...true story..and one I drill in their heads...be nice and don’t be flip with their feelings..it can get in their heads..and you might regret it ala the swan story

God love you for raising your boys the way boys should be raised.

There’s a conventional meme that it’s the oldest who will have to be watched. The younger ones learn to adapt and adjust. IMHO, it’s the younger one who will need watching. ;o)

Eleven years old is middle school? Lordy...I didn’t know that.

You are such a good Dad, especially WRT to girls, and their feelings. Yes...you dump a girl, and she will remember it.

I am very proud of the lessons you’ve learned, and the ultimate family man that you are.

I have a feeling that Annette had quite a bit to do with that. Please thank her for me.

So...was it “Young Girl”, “Lady Willpower”, “Midnight Confessions”, or “Let’s Live For Today”?

I love both groups, and love their music.

Why do lesbians hate men so much?

There are women who are just as bad as some men. maybe worse.
