The title of the thread “Common Threads between Islam and Mormonism” does not sound like breaking news to me. The title sounds like a thread in the Religious Forum.

The thread is still open you, I and others are still posting replies 9 months later. Where it is located today in the forums I have no idea.

I hope I have been of help to you.

You are right the thread sounds like a religious one to me but i get to clicking and about half of the time i will click before i read and its hard to tell where i will wind up, and some of my comments are the same way, said with out thinking.

Lack of sleep and/or lack of coffee seem to cause me similar problems.

I do get to exercise my freedom of speech and vent my frustrations here on FreeRepublic. So I keep coming back no matter what happens.

Take care and be well.

So that’s how you decide who to vote for as President? Sorry, but for me there is no choice at all. I will probably write in Ron Paul. I cannot bring myself to vote for someone who is high up in another secret society, where they all worship Satan.

As to your statements about Jacob, can you give some chapter and verses?

Gen ch 16

1
Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

2
And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

3
And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

If you read kjv Gen ch 29 verse 16 through ch 30 verse 22 it will give you the whole story.

ch 30 verse 4 So she gave him her maid Bilhah as a wife,

In both cases they are referred to as wife.

I may have one or two reasons for doing what i do, i have thought about writing in a name that i liked but decided against it.

Once upon a time i had ten dollars that i wanted to invest in a certain investment scheme, some one told me that i just as well throw it in the furnace but after thinking about it for awhile i decided that if i threw it in the furnace it would not have a chance.

If i invested it there was very little chance of it making me anything but at least a little more chance than the other way.

As it turned out it done me no good at all but i think it probably did some one some good.
