Coulter rips Cain allegations: Liberals "are terrified of strong, conservative black men"
The Daily Caller ^ | 10/30/2011 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 10/30/2011 8:44:20 PM PDT by martosko

Politico dropped a bombshell story Sunday evening, charging that GOP presidential front-runner Herman Cain was accused of sexual harassment by two unnamed females in the late 1990s when he was CEO of the National Restaurant Association.

During an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Geraldo at Large” just an hour later, Ann Coulter likened the allegations to those Clarence Thomas faced in the early 1990s during his Supreme Court confirmation process. “Liberals are terrified of Herman Cain,” she said. “He is a strong, conservative black man … They are terrified of strong, conservative black men.

The Politico article is several pages.

When will they dedicate this much investigative effort and space to owebama’s

1.) Birthplace
2.) Educational “achievments”
3.) Social security number(s)
4.) Etc. Etc. Etc.

Well, at least according to left-stream media douchebag jonathan alter(ed reality) the owebama regime is completely scandal-free.

I think I’m gonna hurl.

“They are terrified of strong, conservative black men.”

Mainly because liberals don’t believe that ALL men are made (with equal abilities). It is an affront to their reality, and they don’t like it.

That's nothing. I had a female bartender/her husband/the bar owner/several bouncers accuse me of sexual harrassment, back about the same time too.

And if there was a settlement with a non-disclosure agreement, Cain won't be able to answer them directly. Gonna be ugly.

Politico sez 'bring the torches, bring your napkins, we is gonna have a Herman Cain BBQ (in the fine ol' Clarence Thomas tradition of course!)'

Gonna beat Uncle Tom until he drops this whole 'presidential campaign' silliness and gets back
on the Plantation, We ain't gonna tolerate no uppity blacks, no sirree!

And so it begins. Look for a pubic hair on a coke can next.

I do not disagree with your thoughts. However logically speaking, it is too early for the liberals to stick Cain with this type of explosive story. They would have waited until Cain actually won the nomination.

My first instinct is to suspect Romney operatives, because Romney feels Herman’s hot breath on the back of his neck already. I would also not rule out Perry opertives since Cain is the biggest obstruction in his path.

Lets keep in mind that the 90's were a "hot" time for disgruntled women in corporate America to use every tool, including courts and allegations, to "get ahead".

I too first thoughts was to suspect Romney operatives, because Romney feels Herman’s hot breath on the back of his neck already, but after seeing the pure vitriol that Perry Supporters have demonstrated toward Herman and considering ruff and tumble LBJ politics of Texas I to would not rule out Perry operatives. In fact Cain would be wise not to get in an car that hasn’t been throughly inspected anytime he’s in Texas.

Quite frankly, I don’t think the liberals are behind this. I think it’s Rove and crew. Is there any “roof”? No. But, well, there is a concerted effort by the GOP establishment to take down anyone threatening Romney. The GOP elites are the most likely suspects.

The more I think about this story, I am asking the same question every homicide detective asks himself...who is the most to gain from the crime!

If Herman is knocked off, who gains most of his support? Bingo! It won’t be Romney right now, and the democRats would have waited until after the GOP convention to spring a story like this and after Cain was the actual nominee.

I knew that some smears like this would up against Cain. Every time, a viable alternative to Romney starts to rise, out come the smears.

When Bachmann starts to rise, scurrilous questions about her husband surface.

When Perry starts to rise, out comes the N-rock story (granted Perry was self-destructing around the same time, but the rock story was just a way to finish him off

Now Cain starts to rise, we hear about sexual harassment.
I suppose these unnamed women will soon go public. Mat Lauer will interview them. They will shed a few tears and talk about how Cain propositioned him while delivering pizza or something.

The left always slings the mud. Remember the Bush Jr. drunk driving incident that they waited to spring on the public until a couple of days before the election.

If Cain survives these allegations, I am sure they have some other kind of mud to toss at him.

I agree with all of your premise. Why Dems would bash Cain so early? More likely RINO establishment hoping Romney or Perry get a bounce off this story. Romney would have the most to gain to get over the 29% ceiling in his poll numbers to lock up the nomination, although Perry could gain from a fall in Cain's momentum going into Iowa.

You are obviously not familiar with liberals. They will smear anyone they perceive as a threat, now or in the future. At the moment, Cain is leading so they are after him. They chased Palin around the country and planted a junk journalist in the house next to hers and she is not even running. When Bachman made a good showing they started the rumor that her husband is gay and they claimed she fostered 23 kids just for the money the state provides for such services. When Perry was doing well they uncovered the Niggerhead rock at an old hunting lease and claimed Perry is a racist. They have hated Newt since 1994. Yet, they love Mix and Match Mitt.

My first instinct is to suspect Romney operatives, because Romney feels Herman’s hot breath on the back of his neck already. I would also not rule out Perry opertives since Cain is the biggest obstruction in his path.

Why? They in particular and conservatives in general have no history of dirty politics. We often wish they would beat the Democrats at their own game but they don't.

You have only been a Freeper for a couple of months but stick around and learn about liberals and conservatives.

I must agree, and I may be new here but I do know enough about liberals and listening to Rush this morning I am now tending to believe it could be liberals. They probably do not want Cain to get too far ahead of “moderate” Romney. The primaries are coming fast and furious, and we are only weeks away from knowing who will be the last man/woman standing.

If liberals are behind this, it still makes no sense because it would be much more powerful impact story in October 2012 if Cain was the nominee. But they would much rather run against Romney which takes attacks on Obamacare off the table since Romney is the biological father of it. So then it would make sense to try and take Cain out right now.
