The global market for clean energy products grew to $243 billion in 2010, a year in which China and Germany both captured a greater share of this global investment than the United States. That has led many (myself included) to worry about the erosion of U.S. competitiveness in a set of clean energy technology productsfrom solar and wind to nuclear and advanced batteriesoriginally invented in America.

Most of that market is the US Gummit and now is broke and can’t buy any more of these boondoggles.

“Clean” energy simply is not competitive - yet.
We need 1) better battery technology, 2) much much cheaper and more efficient solar technology, and 3) improvements on the power grid if we wish to benefit from 1 and 2.
Wind power? IMHO, it’s a loser...now...and in the future.
Oh, of course, we do have one source of clean power.....but it is the name that must not be mentioned that starts with N.
Good. Let China and Germany waste their money rather than our country, on green energy boondoggles.
