She claimed that her son has believed he was a girl since he was two years old. Apparently no Dad around, so the toddler identifies with the present parent (a girl) and wants to be like her. No shock. Any normal parent would correct the boy ("No, you're a boy. Mommy's a girl. The sperm donor you've never met because I'm a freak and ran him away is a boy") and move on.

Some local Girl Scout leaders run conservative units on the local level, but as someone who has watched the changes in the national Girl Scouts of America over the last 25 years this does not surprise me in the least.

There is a major difference between the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the USA.
