On NBC's Meet the Press: Press Pass, Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings explained Republican support of Herman Cain to host David Gregory this way: "...they've been accused as being racist and I think when they can vote for a Herman Cain....they feel like, 'Well, you know, I support this guy...it shows that I'm not racist, and I'm supporting him.'"
>’Well, you know, I support this guy...it shows that I’m not racist, and I’m supporting him.’”<
What the white rats thought about Ozero but the media never told us...
These are the most ignorant, intolerant, racist people on the face of the earth. The very suggestion is reprehensible.
(singing to the old Ken-l Ration jingle)
My guy’s better than your guy,
my guy’s better than yours,
My guy’s better cuz he left your plantation
My guy’s better than yours!
“Beat Negrodamus with a Cain....”
I think it was Mark Levin’s joke.
Q. What do you call a white person who voted for Obama in 08 but won’t vote for him again?
A. A racist.
“Are GOP Supporters of Herman Cain Seeking ‘Absolution’ For Charges of Racism?”
No.
I hope that’s clear enough.
Race card throwing idiots will always continue to throw the race card, huh Gregory? /s =.=
Absolutely. This is how THEY think, and it is disgusting.
Okie01: Is David Gregory Seeking 'Absolution' For Being A Moron?
With these Asshats it is always about race ... they just can’t imagine that we might agree with Cain’s core values and principles.
I heard David and Anderson Cooper like to teabag each other.
No but we are running away from ridiculously-biased “moderators” whose talent is limited to: 1) appearing to be (or actually being) drunk 2) speaking French at inappropriate moments.
I’d love to ask Gregory if I can achieve absolution if I vote for Obama.
If so, why Obama and not Cain?
Gregory is showing an example of projection.
Barf. The Left thinks it is more important that Herman Cain is conservative than that he is authentically black. They also think it is more important that Baraq 0bama is a rich mulatto punk who vacations on Martha’s Vineyard than that he is communist.
“”...they’ve been accused as being racist and I think when they can vote for a Herman Cain....they feel like, ‘Well, you know, I support this guy...it shows that I’m not racist, and I’m supporting him.’”
Said a racist representative of the racist party that elected a president based on color.
Mr Gregory:
We do not need absolution from your fuc&ing lies!
These left wing hacks have set race relations back decades. If you’re called a racist often enough you eventually don’t give a damn.
Damned if we do, damned if we don’t.
May as well just ignore them.
We were accused of not voting for Obama because he is black, and accused of voting for Cain because he is black. Liberals are idiots!
Herman Cain is black. He is also a Baptist minister. He has now been smeared by charges of sexual harassment to a short female.
I am a ‘petite’ female. I am white. I am Jewish. I have been sexually harassed so I know what it is. AND I fully support Herman Cain for president. I believe he is an honest, honorable, upstanding smart man with more character than anyone else in the field.
OTOH, I would never, ever, ever in a million years vote for someone like schumer or specter or lieberman just because they are so-called Jews.

As long as Gregory’s hair is okay (snicker) - (above link)
It’s unacceptable for a moderator on NBC or correspondent to say this.
OK, he caught me. I will have to come to terms with my bigotry. Oh wait, that was when I was with the Tea Party! I am a Cain supporter so now I must be trying to make up for my disgust with our current community organizer and chief,,or something like that.
I can’t wait to see who the liberals will tell me I am next week.
Someone should ask Gregory if he was seeking absolution when he voted for Obama.
Absolutely not. Conservative Republicans are all terrible, nasty racists who will not give a black man a chance. Which is why, of course, the overwhelming percentage of conservative Republicans are supporting the very dark-skinned Herman Cain. I'm just regurgitating lib talking points. Don't try to make any sense out of it, because there isn't any.
Where do you stand, Pansy Graham? John McCain? Ricardo Perry? Willard Romney?

No chump, we're seeking a good conservative with impressive experience and demonstrated executive experience instead of the worthless child who holds the job today
That’s true but David Gregory (punk) has to use a strap-on teabag.
Are GOP Supporters of Herman Cain Seeking ‘Absolution’ For Charges of Racism?
NO.
But that’s why you voted for obama. Now the adults have to clean up the mess you perpetual teenagers made.
These people are so transparent.
Mr. Gregory: Name ONE example of racism by Republicans. How about only 60% voted for the civil rights act? Oh wait, that was Democrats.
I’m not racist, and I don’t give a FF whatanyone else says. Sure, it’s nice to say, “hey, I voted for the black man”, but it’s notnecessary.
I will vote for Cain because he represents what I want for this country. Just like I didn’t vote for Obama because he represented what will destroy the country.
If that makes me a racist, then I will just have to wear the label proudly.
Sue me.
It is DEMOCRATS...the party of slavery and Jim Crow that need absolution...but instead the project...year after year after year after year...these bigots project.
Funny, I don’t remember David Gregory ever bringing up that argument in discussing whites supporting Obama.
Did Liberals vote for Black Whiteguilt Oblack for absolution of their involvement in racism?
We are supporting an articulate Conservative who happens to be Black.

Yeah, this is called “projection.” The nice thing about being a conservative is that I don’t give a dang if they think I’m racist or not.
EXACTLY!! Thank you!!

Must agree. Disgusting article.
If Palin would have run, I would likely be pushing for her right now. But Cain is the best conservative we have of the bunch and as an added bonus is not part of the establishment and isn’t a career politician.
What these sick idiots don’t get is that we call those attributes a PLUS when looking for good candidates.
Nothing is going to change if we keep putting in career establishment politicians that already have their hands in Washington’s cookie jar. It appears that no matter who you are the system gets to you sooner or later.
And yes, that means Cain too, but we might get 8 years out of him before he loses sight of his conservative roots.
