Do you believe that the GOP helps its cause by publishing images of Obama with a bullet in his head?

It’s a political statement. He’s saying Obama and the Democrats are just part of The Walking Dead for the next year.

where was the liberal outrage when they showed Michele Bachmann shot in the chest, throat slit, bleeding at the mouth, white/dead skin, and functioning as a zombie?

I guess it depends on how did this. Is this an official act of a democrat party somewhere?

What political party used that graphic in their advertising?

Your question is well founded. I’m sure there would be a lot of hypocrites on something like this.

But I can can honestly say yes, I would feel the same way if this situation happened to a President that I liked. I wouldn’t take a graphic from a state party as a serious assassination threat. There are many online games that involve doing harm to or killing poorly rendered graphical representations of Obama, Bush, and other Presidents and Presidential candidates. I doubt the secret service investigated them all and they are legal under the first amendment as is this ill-advised graphic of zombie Obama.

I’m sure there are enough real threats made against the President to occupy the secret service’s time.

Big F-in deal...
Have the people whining about this seen the “Tea Party Zombies Must Die!”, with Zombie Palin shot through the head?

Remember kiddies, it’s not the rhetoric of violence, when done-while-Democrat!

No because people tend to vote for what they "want" (A problem is this modern day expansion of government), regardless of the rhetoric. That picture is child's play compared to past political rhetoric anyway. Go to your local library and browse through all the campaign pamphlets, especially the 1796 election. Civility was definitely the last thing on their minds. Politics is war and not for those who are offended easily.

If you are afraid of "righteous indignation" by the democrats (Who at one time campaigned on the slogan "This is a white man’s government!") and "political payback" by those who perpetually see racism in everything, look to skin color instead of judging a person's character, and refuses to assimilate to the notion of self-reliance which helped thrust the US into prosperity (Most can't even comprehend their own "savior" MLK, Jr., the rest make a racket off the ignorance), I really don't know what to say; like they were going to vote for the GOP in the first place, LOL. I guess check your depends, I don't know.

If this offends the gullible moderate, then they deserve to wallow in their ignorance while worshiping so called "civility in the political realm". BTW, if anyone needs to pick up a history book, it would be the self-described "moderate" who thinks they are above "it" all and tend to relish playing the fool.

In the end, the worst position to take is that the President or anyone in public office for that matter, should be free from being ridiculed no matter how "offensive" the rhetoric becomes.

Obviously they intended to kill the President. This is a serious and actionable threat. Good job Secret Service!

No, typical RINOs. It’s flamethrowers and shotguns. Any part of a zombie will keep functioning unless you get it all.

Would you be outraged if the Democratic Party paid for an ad that had a picture of President Bush with a bullet in his head?

The Democrats have done similar things such as showing Paul Ryan pushing an old lady off a cliff. When I start hearing apologies from the Democrats, perhaps I'll be a bit more sympathetic.

Your points are well-made. However, knowing the Left like you and I do, it was foolish mistake that the VA GOP made. The Secret Service was probably made to check out this as a possible. They probably checked out the game companies too, but gamers and the GOP aren’t germaine to each other. The Democrats used this mistake to gain points against the GOP. Remember, that it isn’t whether an allegation is true or not, it is whether the people think it is true. LBJ is quoted as famously crafting a campaign by throwing out an allegation against his rival, Nixon, I think. When his staffer pointed out that it wasn’t true, Johnson replied something to like, ‘You know that and I know that, but it will be fun to watch the bastard try to deny it.’

I don’t. It is juvenile to point our finger after doing something like this and say, “But he did it!”

Agreed. Too bad more people can’t understand what you and I are saying. It doesn’t help us get him out of office by do stupid, juvenile things like this. It is true that Republicans are their own worst enemy.

The Stupid party is at it again. What the heck were they thinking?

What over-credentialed moron thought that was a good idea?

Yeah! They should have made a "Mock-umentary" and called it "Death of a President." Wait, that was already done with the previous President as the subject.

Hold on, what are we feeling outraged about?
