Southern California Edison tells CBS 2 that the incident is an ammonia leak that is being contained. The leak occurred in a steam system used to drive the stations turbines, SCE said. The leak is not nuclear.
The last sentence says it all. No big deal here. Not even worth the time of day.

If we see that glow again in the morning; time to panic.

Actually, it is in Camp Pendleton which runs about 17 miles along the coast from Oceanside in San Diego County to San Clemente in Orange County. The power plant sits on the coast near the northern end of Camp Pendleton and within Pendleton’s boundaries.

They like Spanish placenames in California, even when they don't know enough Spanish to use the right forms--for example, Mission Viejo (wrong gender--should be "vieja").
St. Onuphrius--Onofre in Spanish--was an early Christian hermit who seems to have died about 400. There is a church in Rome, not far from Vatican City, dedicated to him--Sant'Onofrio. The Italian poet Torquato Tasso (1544-1595) is buried there, also the Croatian philosopher Francesco Patrizi da Cherso (1529-1597).
