As far as I know. I wouldn’t think it would hurt Cain’s abilities. I am sure he has been expecting this kind of thing from the Left and the RINOS.
Not a settlement. Several news stories confirmed yesterday this was severance pay.
There was an investigation at the time, nothing was found, no legal action was involved, no deposition, nothing. She was fired and got severance.
I wouldn’t care if she came out with the details, if I could trust that our conservative media would do their job and dig and get to the bottom of things. But it’s not about truth anymore, it’s about the soap opera. She will be paraded as the victim on the View, Nancy Grace and even Greta.
Just like Palin. They throw these accusations out there. The people like Levin get to the bottom of things, but that never makes the news, so the lie just “hangs out there”
I have paid severance many times..I have never paid a full year...maybe 3-4 months tops
and never a confidentialty agreement ...ever
it’s more than just a laid off package
and btw...you don’t normally give severance to someone you “fire”
you tell them to pack their bags...severance is for good but laid off employees
I am aware of many firings with severance. It makes sense in contentious situations. Grease.
If and when the media starts to examine mac daddy the way they do others then maybe there will be some type trust awarded, until then there is no trust in anything they do or say - none.

There is a rule regarding internet debates. The first person that brings up a comparison to Hitler in the debate, immediately loses the debate. It doesn’t matter if you were right on every other aspect of the debate, you stepped over the line, you lost. Any further debate from you is pointless.

Politico is using the Drip, Drip, Drip strategy. They released no info with the charges of sexual harassment and let Cain respond. Cain’s thinking the women are gagged by the settlement so he won’t be challenged on the details of one of the incident he gave to Gretta.
Next Politico comes up with a Republican pollster who claims to have witnessed the sexual harassment and the lawyer for one or both “victims” claim that Cain violated the settlement agreement by addressing the details of the incident... Now they are calling for NRA to stop the cover-up and permit the “victims’ to speak and they are building up tension so the story stays in the public’s mind...
They will stretch this out for a long time.
