Oklahoma political consultant Chris Wilson says if the woman behind the reported sexual harassment complaint against GOP Presidential hopeful Herman Cain is allowed to speak publicly, it'll be the end of Cain's run for the White House.

Interviewed today on KTOK's Mullins in the Morning, Wilson, of Wilson-Perkins-Allen Opinion Research headquartered in Washington, D.C. explained he was a witness to the incident. "I was the pollster at the National Restaurant Association when Herman Cain was head of it and I was around a couple of times when this happened and anyone who was involved with the NRA at the time, knew that this was gonna come up."

Who is "Chris Wilson"? Does he have ties to Mitt Romney?

Why did Mitt Romney visit Oklahoma (one of the reddest states in the nation) a few weeks ago?

I’m still waiting to see the smoke, much less than the fire.

Wilson said for legal reasons, he can not discuss details of the incident. "But if she comes out and talks about it, like I said, it'll probably be the end of his campaign." The consultant said Cain is digging himself a deeper hole by challenging the woman. He also believes it has put the Restaurant Association in a position where it will have to release the woman from her confidentialilty agreement. "If she talks about it, I think it'll be the end of his campaign."

I don't know who this guy is but anyone with half a brain and a clear head regarding this matter knws that there are other shoes yet to drop.

It's such BS to make remarks like this. Unless you're actually willing to come out and say what happened, don't smear someone by innuendo. Don't give me this crap about for legal reasons I can't discuss it and then go with this. Total B.S.!! Either say what happened or keep your yap shut!!

Just kinda strange that somebody in Oklahoma with ties to Karl Rove is the first to spill... not somebody close to the people involved.

Makes me think Wilson has something to gain.

Karl Rove, yep said it yesterday. He helped bring down Christine O’Donnell also.

Why Rove is considered an impartial pundit on FNC is ridiculous.

They just may be. But the most damning aspect of this scandal for Cain is his fumbling response to it. His story is changed nearly every day and he had 10 days notice prior to publication that this was coming. Not good at all.

IF this was such a BIG deal and supposedly the end of the Cain campaign, the woman sure as hell wouldn't have only settled for a year's salary - $35,000. It would be a much bigger claim with much wider impact.

The fact that news stories ALSO say this woman had "other issues" such as performance and is "currently a federal worker" who lives in Maryland - tells me this is a completely political hackjob story.

If the "sexual harassment" was witnessed by this dufus IN PUBLIC, it must not have been very sexual or very harassing.

We have had a serial rapist in the White House.

Making some incompetent, hysterical woman "uncomfortable" doesn't even move the needle.

Herman would have to have done something truly disqualifying, and in front of many witnesses. Is that likely?

Could he have been rique in a group? Who knows.

Makes me think of Ed Rendell who was married, hitting on women right and left as governor and DNC head. Even hit on reporters, I believe. Funny, they love him on TV, another “great guy”.

Unless pictures come up with Cain diddling with kids or killing a kid with his own bare hands, I am voting for the guy.

I seem to recall that unless it’s “worse” than leaving a dead woman in a submerged car, or lying under oath to Congress, then it’s perfectly OK to do it. At least that’s what the press has told me so far.

I think you are right. Cain has handled this whole thing badly - ESPECIALLY - when you consider he had advance notice it was coming out. It doesn't give much confidence to the way he handles a crisis. Not a Cain supporter, so I'll get that out of the way - but YES, more things are yet to come.

I just felt all along that something was going to bring his campaign down - there's just something not right about him - a lot of retractions in what he says. I know I'll get flamed for it, but that whole story about the hand gesture comparing the woman's height to his wife's....I try to reconstruct that conversation in my mind....and it just doesn't feel right to me. There's more to come about that conversation, I'm sure.
