I even suspected he was enjoying the fact that it enraged his supporters to the point that they were increasing donations.

Yep, my man Herman is accused of sexual harassment and his money and ratings go up.

Ricky, gives a speech and his giggles become the food for ridicule and the late night snipers.

I suspect that perrwinkles are enraged because no matter what is happening on a daily basis, Herman is kicking perry's ass. Period. Even in the Alamo.

I wish Cain would hit back and ask the reporters where they were on the many other Dem scandals or suggest they look into them and get back to him when they have done so.

Exactly. Democrats and the media try to control the issue to their advantage. Remember “move on” when Clinton was caught with his pants down in the White house? Remember how he can “compartmentalize” so it won’t affect his job? Remember the woman’s rights activist saying that “the greater good” or “the big picture” is what we should be concerned with?
And all of that was for something that actually happened.

With Cain we are hearing about some vague allegations which happened over twenty years ago and are disputed. It clearly isn’t important and you can bet that the democrats are only concerned with their “big picture”.

Maybe he should contact Sarah Palin on how to deal with the “lamestream media”.

That “dufus” is a fellow name of Wilson, and he has worked for Karl Rove in the past.

This is the worst kind of dirty politics - Republicans eating their own.

From this story I doubt he needs any advice. He's doing great.

Even Cain is making lemonade from this lemon. The media is causing his donors to want to come out of the woodwork and pony up for his campaign. The conservative Republicans are on the war path calling the media, emailing and phoning and tying up the lines to push back against these media versions of both the Cain allegations and their cut and paste version of Perry’s enthusiastic appearance in NH, where he received a standing ovation. Splicing information is now a habit even on FOX who now seems to join the cabal of DC media trying to form public opinion that insulates Romney but cuts conservative candidates with conservative records off at the knees. They have made Bachman look like a wild eyed crazy, Newt as maybe entertaining in a debate, but of no consequence and someone to be ignored, and Perry as but a cheerleading dolt, whose ten year Texas record must be deep-sixed except for flogging the two most controversial of issues. Now Cain, who must be turned into a predator of women and set up to be seen as not able to take the media heat.

This is NOT vetting. This is personal destruction. We conservatives are duty bound to resist marxists at work in the two parties and in the media, on behalf of ALL of our candidates.

Testy - as in testicles?

I am glad Cain has a pair!

“Cain refuses to answer questions about alleged sexual harassment”

And that is the best advice for him. Any attorney will advise you not to talk to anyone but your attorney about the case, Period. Even if its the police, and even if the case is closed.
Our first and completely natural reaction is to say as much as we can to defend our selves, but that is exactly what we should not be doing.

That’s probably WHY I’m not a candidate...I’d have told them to “f off” on Monday.

You say Cain needs to put the matter to rest but we still do not know what Cain is legally able to say or not say. Even saying what he can and cannot say might violate a confidentiality agreement.

He can say he has asked the NRA to release him and the ‘victim’ from the confidentiality agreement so both can get their stories out if they wish. He can ask the NRA to release all relevent documents about the settlement. Once he does that, he has done enough until NRA agrees.
