A spokesman for Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s campaign is adamantly denying that members of the GOP presidential candidate's staff leaked a story has swamped Herman Cain's campaign this week. Instead, the Perry camp is pointing a finger at the campaign of another rival Republican, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, as a possible source of the report about the sexual-harassment charges levelled a decade ago against Cain by female subordinates at the National Restaurant Association.

At the end, when every candidate has been implicated by the other, they will all, in unison, blame Bush. In song.
You misunderstand. I’m not saying I or anyone else will or is abandoning him. I’m merely prognosticating. What I WANT and what is RIGHT is not the issue—we’d be in agreement there, I suspect.

I’m just glad Democrats didn’t leak it 11 months from now.
Why wouldn't they simply deny it, and say nothing more than that?
(A) Perry's camp knows it was Romney and they're helping Cain?
(B) Perry's camp did it, and they are shifting blame to Romney to deflect?
(C) Perry's camp has no idea who did it, and they are taking this opportunity to hurt Romney in an attempt for Perry to gain a few points?
The only option which shows any class at all is option A.
Perry has better a opposition research team than Cain, so they probably do know who leaked it.
I know one thing: This is all going to get real old, real fast. A month of this, and none of us will pay attention to ANYTHING negative about ANY candidate except Obama. LOL

With the primaries all moved up, I'm afraid it is way too late for Ryan to change his mind now. A real shame as he might have been vastly better than this bunch we have to pick from.

I know what you mean. I’m just hoping that the overwhelming conservative majority is not fooled by this media manufactured smear job. They’re trying to pick our candidate, just like they did in 2008.

True, it might be gruesome, but it still could not convey the horror that the rat media shows the sheeple every day.
If you think this is all working to Cain’s advantage, you’re delusional. He’s made several rookie mistakes, the most blatant of which was to actually talk about an incident which was supposedly settled under a confidentiality agreement. Cain opened a can of worms that didn’t need to be opened.
And why blame Perry? What’s his evidence? Why would he blame a guy who’s at about 6% in the polls?
So far the handling of this scandal on the Cain side is amateurish at best.
