Do any other FReepers suspect that this is all dress rehearsal for the "civil unrest" demonstrations during the Republican convention and a couple of days prior to the 2012 election? Everything is way too orchestrated to be believable as "spontaneous", especially with Obama publically egging it on.

I agree. This is practice. The OWS stage is just so the agitators can meet the rabble, collect phone numbers and email addresses, and get people enthused and worked up.

Come winter, the OWS crowds will go home, but organization and agitation will continue "under the radar". Then, come spring, expect them to all come out, try to trash the Republican convention in Tampa in August, and then try to disrupt the 2012 elections.

I would say it was a good bit more than “chaos”.

I think the title should have been— Occupy mob goes from chaos to violence and destruction.

This headline is false. No one went to Chao’s. It was open all day, and quite peaceful. Chinatown wants nothing to do with the Occupy mob. They’re bad for business.

The Mayor of Oakland called this a good day.

The pro-stablishment, pro-government, anti-America mobs are just following orders.

And sadly the Republican party is more interested in bad mouthing the TEA party than the communists/socialist/anarchist who are literally running riot in the streets.

It’s not quite that time yet but it is getting closer . When some Occupy whatever protestor decides to toss a molotov thru the front window of a store or bank & gets shot by a customer /guard the resulting violence will be the spark that starts the bloodshed on a massive scale.
