In a world of “Black and White” where being “Color Blind” is a virtue, Politico has chosen to be” Yellow,” as in Yellow Journalism.
Out here in flyover country, being “yellow” has the primary meaning of being a coward.
Out here, if you accuse someone of a wrong doing, then you had better have the facts to back it up. Otherwise you are just a sneaky, yellow, coward.
So, Politico, put-up or shut-up. Your cowardly smears are just that, cowardly smears.

The thing Herman should be told is that these attacks are only leveled at the best type of Conservative, and the best quality of American. You don’t see Mitt get this treatment, or Newt get this treatment, or even Orrin Hatch. Hell, Bradley Manning betrayed the nation, and he hasn’t had the media hunting through all of his past for anyone who could find a single statement which some idiot perceived as uncomfortable in some way.
Politically corrupted insiders, immorral scumbags, dislikable jerks, whackjobs, and the selfish will all get a pass from this treatment.
Only the decent, emminently likable, good-guy Republicans get this treatment. Sarah Palin got this treatment, because she was a decent, moral, likable person who could have taken the political world by storm, unless she was relentlessly demonized.
Likewise, Herman seems like the kind of decent, likable, upbeat guy who anyone would want as a friend, and who anyone would love to simply have a beer and a few laughs with. That he is a genius, a patriot, and a principled Conservative to boot only added to the threat he presented.
So Herman should know, the worse these attacks get, the more viscious they become, and the more rapidly they are launched, the more they serve as an objective measure of his decency and goodness. Every false attack by the corrupted machine only makes us like him more. If he were a selfish immoral jerk, he’d be getting the Romney treatment from the media, and we know that.
Moreover, all the people who matter recognize this, and his stock only goes up with them, during every future attack.

I have been grossly disappointed in those ‘conservatives’ who have been among those scrabbling to do damage to Cain, to join in the efforts to ‘take him out’....
All of our past experience with the media.....with rinos...should have taught us who and what these people ARE. We should NEVER be weak minded enough to automatically believe ANYTHING reported or printed by one of these jackals.... At least, not without solid, documented and proven evidence....
I don’t see that here. What I see are the advocates of other ‘conservative’ candidates, and the libs of course.... hoping that there might be enough ‘there there’ to damage Herman Cain and elevate their guy.
