Yeah, a friend and I both agreed he was more likeable as the “goofy” Rick Perry than as the “serious” one we’ve seen in the debates. I think a lot of the stumbling that he’s been criticized for in the debates is due to him second-guessing himself and suppressing his natural responses because he wants to look more presidential.
I agree. I’m sure it’s hard to take the jokes etc., when you would really like to just be yourself. He will never satisfy the msm, so why try. IMO
