Levin does have health issues, including some serious ones I believe. But it's pretty low to hope the guy gets too sick to work. That's how I took what Savage said about Levin's health.

(Again, yes I listen to Levin. I have no favorites. I see talk radio as being about America -- not the damn host. But I greatly appreciate what these modern-day Patriots do.)

He's had respiratory problems and does cough.. I heard him say something about a lingering cold, flu or something.

Anyone recall how Savage took the news that Limbaugh did not have a heart attack after all while he (Limbaugh) was in Hawaii?

Did anyone catch Pelosi’s use of the word “protection”? If the Congress dispenses protections, then they’re in the business of protectionism. AKA a protection racket.

My comment above that "I greatly appreciate what these modern-day Patriots do." (Savage, et al.) That is absolutely true. They risk a lot. But today there are rewards.

It occurred to me to wonder how many Patriots in Colonial times became the equivalent of multi-millionaires. But I guess many back then did pretty well until the War.

ITA! Especially when he constantly whines that Levin and the rest didn’t support him during the banned in Britain thing. Well; why would they?

RE: Levin and the rest didn’t support him during the banned in Britain thing.

Well actually I've recounted this before. Levin did in fact say that he supported Savage against the British government.

I caller surprised Levin when he asked what he (Levin) thought of the banning.

Levin was very calm and replied that the action by the British government was wrong. He continued the conversation without any hint of enmity toward Savage. After the caller hung up Levin did get in a quip about Oscar Myers.

Today; 'Howdy' would not, of course, be recognized on the street; he would be taken down/out. . . rudely disconstructed in one miserable heart beat.

He is not one to be 'remade/recast' into a 'You Tube' phenom. Nor is he destined for a blockbuster redo. Howdy Doody; clearly no Sherlock Holmes or Bat Man. He just IS - an icon from America's past.

OTOH; there ARE rumors. . .from RNC/GOP ET AL. Many, so associated; are asking. . ."what time is it"?

...Wonder sometimes if all this feuding is for show. It's like Beatles and Stones in the 60’s. Everyone thought them bitter rivals, when in fact they were good friends. Sometimes a myth is a good edge to have, for the ratings...

She was on 'Fox/Friends' last week. Cool to see her, actually. And she does mean well/lol. . .but what an embarrassment; beyond her hitting some 'high notes' which she did with ease.

OR. ..maybe she was on Imus. ..Oh; whatever; she had an audience and clearly 'appreciated' it. Her misconstruing 'government realities' was to be expected; but ignorance never a good thing to lecture from.

Was hoping all her Lib friends were tuned it to 'that station'/lol. They probably washed their screen; after she left.

If you can sit at a computer; you are 'old enough'. Just Google; listen; and/or go to Amazon.com and order. . .or 'WHEREVER' oldies' are promoted/played/sold.

You did not have to 'be there'; although, no question, it helps. . .

For show? Maybe. I recall that Savage maligned Laura Ingrham and would not mention her name instead he referred to her as the "transsexual with a cross" (or something very close) and now he apparently says he likes her.

OTOH I've heard Levin make actual threats of physical violence and harm to Savage if the two men ever met. Levin sounded like he really meant it.

This ain't Hope and Crosby. :)

...he would be taken down/out. . . rudely disconstructed in one miserable heart beat. ...Not so good...

...These yahoos in the film industry or in government can't come up with anything new, so they recycle the old garbage and destroy it. I see that the H D pic is still up, but the Rocky and Bullwinkle pic was removed, Xed out by the Mod squad. You were right dyn. Seems there is a remake of them and even though the pic was from long ago, there must be copyright problems for FR. No problem with that...

...The problem is with the Chitheads that own the rights today. What time is it? Time to do what WE tell you. WE know what's best...

...Same with me, all the time, for a long time. Hate when that happens. Worse than that is standing at the urinal and can't stop dream. RRRRRRReally hate when that happens...

...Sorry if I've told you more than you care to know about me... (-;)
