Cast of Characters in the Lynching of Herman Cain
Voices Empower ^ | November 3, 2011 | Donna Garner

Chris Wilson of Wilson Research Strategies has said publicly that while he was working for Herman Cain at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) in the late 1990′s that he personally saw Cain sexually harass a woman at a restaurant in Virginia although Wilson has not said exactly what he believes constituted his claim of “harassment.”

WHO IS CHRIS WILSON?

Chris Wilson was the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Texas under then-governor George W. Bush. Chris Wilson worked very closely with Karl Rove. Rove was known to us in Texas as the “master of dirty political tricks. ” I suspect that Rove taught Chris Wilson the art of deception.

KARL ROVE

Karl Rove has been accused of being the source behind countless dirty tricks, whisper campaigns, smear tactics, and character assassinations.

I have dealt personally with Karl Rove.

This is interesting and really laid out well... check out the section on Rove, who I still suspect is involved somehow in this smear campaign against Cain.

The best thing about sexual harassment, for the accuser, is that it doesn't matter what you or I or anyone else thinks, as long as she/he thinks it's harassment, then it is. And millions should be paid for this interpretation.

I sure hope this isn't true.

Rove is a a piece of work. I don’t trust him or like him in the least and I find it hard to believe anything he says. I don’t believe he cares for the republican party as much as he cares for his click of friends and himself.

lol! Unfortunately, that is true.

There was a complaint filed in my office by a male worker who claimed sexual harassment because a female coworker was wearing her skirts too short and her blouses were cut too low. I had to remind her of the dress code and all was resolved.

I don’t hate (or love) Rove the way some do here. It was only until he lost elections when we stopped with the ‘Rove you magnificent bastard!” tags around here.

I don’t feel the hatred toward him because he is no different than when he was on ‘our’ side. He was and is a country club Republican, and always has been. It just happened that his and our interests intersected for awhile.

He’s a typical DC operative, and one of the reasons we need someone like Palin (who I had trouble with as a candidate for Prez) doing what she does, working toward cleaning house at the RNC. No more Rockefeller Republicans—their time is long, LONG over.

>>>>>I am not the brightest bulb in the lamp, but I can connect the dots.

You can say that again. When I connect the dots it shows Donna Garner is an idiot. With no evidence or proof whatsoever, this bitch engages in slander and libel then has the audacity to call her tripe ".. the Lynching of Herman Cain".

Wilson is also a pollster, the one working for perry, his last bogus Iowa poll was posted here by the perrywinkles and not one word about the fact it was perry's poll. He has an office in austin, texas across the street from perry. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2801469/posts

A lot of guys probably think it would be great to work with a woman who wears very revealing clothing. However, that sort of clothing can get to be a distraction. It’s inappropriate for business, unless one’s business is exotic dancing.

There are indeed cases of sexual harassment, but for me the operative word is ‘harassment.’ A workplace can set all sorts of rules for behavior, and employees must adhere or walk. Typically it’s about one employee giving another a tough time, repeatedly, in a sustained manner.

But sexual harassment adds ‘sex’ to the case even though this is in direct contradiction to all liberal ideas about sex—about how it’s no big deal, it’s not love it’s just a physical act like going to the bathroom, women are just as into it as men and as capable of going out and getting what they want, etc. The merchants of resentment have cultivated this bizarre split in women—they are at the same time capable of fighting and dying on the battlefield AND they will come apart and need financial settlements if someone flirts with them.

I’m NOT saying real sexual harassment doesn’t happen. I’m saying women have been approached and they’ve forcefully said “Get the hell away from me or I’ll call the cops.” That they may have to do this to someone in a power position is one of the harsh realities of the world. But they’re just as capable as men, so they can handle it—right?

Amazing insight there! I hope more here read it and take it to heart.

I started to read Rove’s book. While I respect him for rising from his humble beginnings, his book.....well....let’s just say my “internal Jiminey Cricket” is sounding its alarm. OK I could not finish Rove’s autobiography, nor could I finish Gerson’s “Courageous Conservatism” for the same reasons.

Both men put winning elections above what is right for the nation, which is precisely WHY we are in such a mess today.

BTW, forgive me for taking the thread a bit off topic with the post about business attire.

In regards to the topic, as much as I dislike Rove, what reason would he have to destroy Cain? Does he favor of any of the candidates in particular?

After listening to the slithering, cloying verbiage from Rove this afternoon on Hannity’s radio show, I’m convinced Rove is using it to help his favorite rino, Romney, by feint praising Herman. Rove spent more time trying to intimate that ‘this thing’ will not go away until Herman does something Rove approves of, which is tantamount to Rove just repeating the false allegations. Rove is a slimey spittleghost.

Rove is an establishment Republican. Romney is the establishment Republican candidate.

I don’t believe [Rove] cares for the republican party as much as he cares for his click of friends and himself.

Rove believes his clique of friends and himself ARE the Republican Party.

Copy that.
Ms. Garner is somewhat haunted by the little people in her head. Obviously the butler did it....with Scarlett in the library with a pipe.
Or was it Scarlett’s maid who used to write for the Post who was last employed by building maintenance at Politico.
It’s people like her that know - I mean really know - their entire family tree.

>>> Rove is a a piece of work.

Yet it isn’t Rove for whom cash had to be paid out to women over sexual harassment. And it wasn’t Rove who daily has had to “adjust” his explanation of the story. Just sayin’.

The finger pointing in EVERY direction based on no evidence whatsoever would be comical if it didn’t benefit Obama. A Keystone Kops farce but without the gravitas.
