The White House on Friday all but refused to turn over the documents House Republicans have subpoenaed on bankrupt solar firm Solyndra, firing off a letter saying the request would put an "unreasonable burden on the president's ability to meet his constitutional duties."

i take it the president wouldnt be personally extracting emails and correspondence. so, how is this going to impede him doing a bad job he is doing just fine while golfing, bowing, lying and spending?

Constitution calls for three branches, “checks and balances”. Founding Fathers intended the judicial branch to be weakest. Legislative branch, the most powerful, always has the option to quit funding anything it objects to.
