After more than a month of protest demands for better employment opportunities and benefits, Accuracy in Media saw fit to test their desires with...employment applications. Our "headhunters" were treated to every excuse as to why these jobs aren't good enough for them.
Watch the video for more excuses not to work.

But then we knew that already...

Only TWO job applications were filled out. 99% of the “occupiers” are either neo-hippies or wanna-be revolutionaries.

In other words they don’t want to work but are willing to sit around and bitch. I have to get up at 4 on Saturday morning and go in and count. It’s paying for my meals, internet, rent, gas, DirecTV HD, Andriod phone, clothes, taxes, vision, health, electricity. Bitching does not pay the bills.

They are just lazy..... For this crowd, lazy is a step up.
There are already too many of these people in defense, which is why our grandchildren will speak Chinese.

And in response to your
Post cover(s) post, wonder how long Mayor Boomberg will channel the spirit of Dinkins...
Everyone remember those crime free years when Davie Dinkins was mayor, right?

We want to put our education to good use ........ but not at a slave wage position.
HUH? So they're willing to work at what they got their college degree in FOR FREE? Is getting paid for what a person does mean that person is in a "slave wage position?" These people are clueless and mentally dis-eased.

So they're willing to work at what they got their college degree in FOR FREE?Think it was more at not wanting to work period. For free or for pay makes no difference. No work, just support me at no cost to me.

A job application is not the same thing, and not even close, to a job offer. In this horrible economy, each open position may get hundreds of applicants. After a while, people become so discouraged that they are no longer willing to fill out job applications, because the repeated false hope is just too painful.

If what you say is true then these particular people should and eventually will have their genes removed from the pool.
People with no courage, no will and no determination have no place in a functioning society. The only exceptions would be those who are emotionally or physically unable to care for themselves.

This segment from the TV show "60 minutes" shows people with college degrees who always worked hard and always followed the rules, but who can't find jobs, even after being unemployed for more than 99 weeks and sending out hundreds of resumes:
