I can’t read people’s motives, but I’ll go on record strongly supporting this idea.

Guv Palin declined to run for President in 2012.

Like it or not, that’s a fact. The unknown to those of us not privy to the reasons for that decision is ... the reasons for that decision.

There is absolutely no question, Palin was subjected to one of the most evil, partisan, mean-spirited leftist mudslinging conspiracies ever seen. And leftists are as a matter of course, nasty to begin with.

I’m guessing Palin didn’t want that to continue. I’m also guessing that unlike most politicians, Palin is not motivated by a yearning for power - and that raises an interesting possibility:

Perhaps her ego isn’t on the line as far as accepting the supporting role in an administration.

I’ve seen hundreds of posts on this board, stating as if fact, that Palin would not accept anything less than top of a ticket.

Perhaps that’s based on faulty assumptions. Perhaps VP would be exactly what Palin would be interested in.

It would keep her from being the focus of the left’s slime machine, while moving her into position as our next, very formidable person for that job after Cain completes his administration.

I’m biased, but I’m not ready to dismiss this possibility out of hand.

It would fire up the tea party movement, like nothing else could.

"Cain's number are UP as I understand..."

Yeah, and with barely one year until the election. No way that's going to change...

Hire the person best suited to the job period.

I see all these candidates just as if they were standing in line with a resume in hand all working to get one job.

Do I hire the guy with the best looking wife?

Do I hire the guy who is known to be a millionaire only for a truck driving position?

Do I hire the woman with an honest gung ho attitude, has all the answers, is a survivor because she is adaptable.

Or do I add some color to my workforce in the hope that it will gain more black customers?

its a shame they don’t have a two week on/off for POTUS, just elect two of the best, one works a shift and then changes out with his/her shift partner.

Newt was so enamoured of the trappings of his office, that Clinton and the media out foxed him every step of the way.

Are you dyslexic? I disagree with your entire soliloquy.

I don’t think this is a bad idea at all.

Your idea would be a good one too.

Rubio and Jeb Bush are tied at the hip.

Sarah will never play seconds fiddle again. Why would she want to. She’s at the top of the class. Anyone would be lucky to be her VP choice. Like George H B Bush.
