It just makes sense. I believe that G-d would want us to try to save both the mother and the baby, but, if that was not possible, I do believe that G-d would rather we save one, than lose both. That isn’t ‘playing G-d’, its just common sense. jmo

It’s like this, though:

If you genuinely think abortion is murder, and there are, what, thousands? tens of thousands? of abortions performed every month, then that’s tens of thousands of children being murdered monthly.

What could possibly be more important?

Hey, just out of curiosity, if abortion is illegal, what should the penalty be? 10 years? 15? Prisons are overcrowded as it is, and that’s a lot of women to put in jail.

I just can’t find an explanation other than “they’re lying through their teeth.”

All of them, by good appointments and leadership.

None of them on his own, good appointments or no. Two would require Congressional action and one would require two-thirds of the Senate and three-quarters of the states. I applaud his convictions but he's kidding himself if he thinks he could get it done.

I agree with the prolife position.

Life does start at conception and there is no just reason for taking the life of the unborn child, with the only possible exception being the literal life of the mother.

However, you cannot likely accomplish the goal of eliminating abortion completely in one fell swoop. That is what I quibble with. If you want abortion outlawed, you have to push for it in small steps. That is how you’re going to win this fight.

I agree with all of what Rick says and he has never ran away from his full conservatism .

The man never got a chance off our biased media because of his stances

Conservatives are social and fiscal, and any fool saying they have no problem with the homo agenda like homo’s serving openly etc, etc are not conservatives but libertarians who are liberals infact more liberal than Dems on social issues

Well, he will not be President; but hope Pennsylvania appreciates his efforts; and hope Newt/Cain/Cain/Newt appreciate him as well. Maybe a good job, somewhere for him.

er no.

Most do not want the queer agenda, do not want queer marriage, queers serving openly or being taught the homo agenda to 5 yea olds in schools.

He has the right message but the media will never give him a chance and libertarians who are more in tuned with liberals do not care for his full conservatives stances.

Also another poster said it is a bit late saying this, well I suggest to that poster too that they need to pay more attention as he has been saying this for some time.

He’d go further with, “ Return America to a Constitutional Republic that respects the law as it’s written and work with Congress to appoint outside counsel to investigate and prosecute, to the furthest extent of the law, any and all violations of the Constitution by the current administration.”

Most Americans do not want the leftist social/immoral agenda, but most Rs are too chickens*** to tell the truth about the dangers of said agendas. The cowardice among the Rs is disgusting.

Imagine the career he could have had if had had not stabbed conservatives in the back by supporting Arlen “Scottish Law” Specter against Pat Toomey.

Santorum spent all his political capital supporting an enemy of these United States. He needs to just go away.

He should just promise the voters pie. At least he could deliver pie.

In the meantime, he could brush up on the constitution and apologize for greatly exaggerating the power of the executive branch on the campaign trail.
