Background: Americans for Prosperity is having its annual summit this weekend, and the Occupy movement decided to send some people over to disrupt it – which is to say, they tried to rush the building. They failed, of course – the American Left simply is not very good at demonstrations* – but in the process of expressing their inner kindergarteners (the ones that weren’t using actual kindergarteners as props/riot shields, that is) some protesters got hit by a car. And we almost had an incident over it – only it turns out that ‘protesters got hit by a car’ actually means ‘some protesters threw themselves in front of a car.’

I’m at the AFP event. They ODC idiots came from two sides. Very coordinated. Some conservatives got caufht outside while grabbing a smole. One woman, about 60 yrs old, got knocked over and got a bloody nose. Another woman got literally pushed against the glass doors from the rush of cimmies. A friend saw the jump in front of the car. The car was going about 2 miles per hour. The ODC girl over-acted the “hit” and her “fall”. But to be save an ambulance came. After the AFP event they yelled nasty things at us but police presence was high enough the wasn’t any assaults that I’m aware of at that point. Great AFP event btw

I agree. If you have a 1,000 clown circus, and you run over 500 clowns, you get a smaller clown circus.
