A couple of caveats are in order when reading this breaking story about a woman coming forward in a press conference to accuse Herman Cain of sexual harassment. First, it’s Radar that is reporting the news, and their track record for accuracy on political stories is … less than spectacular, although not entirely bad. The second caveat? Her representation:

The woman, who will be the first to go public on Monday, sought Cain’s help with an employment issue and was allegedly sexually harassed by him. Allred and her client will discuss, in detail, what she alleges occurred with Cain.

It will be a huge mistake on this woman’s part to come out.
I wouldn’t put it past Gloria to have made the whole thing up.
There’s nothing she can say or do to have any effect on Cain supporters.
She will just paint a target on her own back.
I hope that if she does come out, she is getting a heck of a lot more than $35,000 because she’ll need it to move to Jamaica or somewhere safe.

He never said he did not recall the incident.
He said from the beginning, he was accused, it was investigated and found to be false. He did not know there was an agreement between that woman and the NRA, until later in the day, it was obvious that someone contacted him and let him know that.
The paperwork and the statement by the NRA on Friday CONFIRMED Cain’s version of events, and that he was never a party to the woman’s exit agreement (whatever that was).
As for the other accusers, we don’t even know they exist. NRA has not confirmed any other cases. We only know of a 2nd woman from Politico, who admitted they only talked to her by phone and haven’t been able to talk to her in two weeks. And we still don’t even know from Politico what Cain was supposed to have done.
Then there is the pajamas media story, which if it were true that woman would have sued Cain for 7 figures or landed him in jail!!!
I am not a bit worried about what garbage this awful Allred brings out. People are not buying it.
Yeah Gloria All Red’s accusations are pathetic,remember one of Tiger Wood’s sluts cried because he left her off his list of mistresses?
Not only has there been a shameful rush to ‘blame the women’ in this affair, but some people are using the same lines and lies that were told about the Clinton victim.

Morally Cain seems to be better or equal to every candidate with the possible exception of Perry.
I hope the allegations aren't true. But it's slim pickens out there.

Mr. Cain needs to study up on Fast & Furious and the Solyndra scandals, talk to congressmen Issa learn every thing he can, so every time the media asks him a question about these women he can politely turn the subject on the real scandals in America.
So far there are no “the women” here they settled years ago and are anonymous.
I’m not “vaulting to Cain’s defense” as much as I’m shouting “J’accuse” at the media.
Itb is perfectly appropriate to condemn these women for hurling accusation while hiding behind a shield of anonymity.
In Clinton’s case ALL the women stepped forward and identified themselves.

My worry is that so much (unjustified in my opinion) hatred has arisen toward Perry here that if Cain does stumble because of this affair, they won’t be able to bring themselves to vote for him.
And a vote for anyone else will result in Romney.
You get enough “he said she said” stuff and he is sunk.
