But I’m afraid Mr. Cain is toast.
The campaign did a lousy job of handling this mess, and today’s press conference will probably create more questions, rather than answer them.

So, let me get this straight. You are giving up on Herman Cain in favor of Newt, who is on his 3rd wife and the story of how he notified his 1st wife he was divorcing her, because Herman Cain isn’t handling these attacks well? I could understand if Newt’s hands were clean, but they’re not. Don’t get me wrong, I like Newt as my second choice, but Mr. Cain is being smeared.
Too late for Mr. Cain.

Well, give it time. Then we can say we have known Mr. Cain for many years as well. But Mr. Cain’s “sins” are only accusations, not facts.
An interesting comment made by a blogger on an online article....
“They seem to be all white women, could it be they are overly sensitive as well as afraid of a big black man? Years ago they used to LYNCH black men for looking at a white woman the wrong way. Now it’s a high-tech lynching, over TV and the internet. Lawsuits substitute for a lynching.”
