Now she’s going to start to complain when Cain’s “henchmen” start nosing into her own life, asking questions of friends and neighbors old and new.
Unless a blue dress or some DNA or a love child can be found, I think the worst verdict about Cain is going to remain “not proven.” Especially since there seem to be no shortage of ladies who can vouch that Cain never acted like anything but a gentleman in their private presence.
If something did happen, I’m sorry to say that I would believe that she started it. I’ve worked in male-dominated fields my entire life, including in the liquor industry, even before these extreme PC days. I’ve never had a problem with anyone I worked with or for!!! And, like someone said, she wasn’t even working there anymore...
I also don’t know how she can remember such details (what he said, what she said) so many years later??? I’d say that I have a decent memory and don’t alter things, and I can’t remember conversations that far. I might remember a sentence or two, or the gist of things, but not to the extent she was painting it.
