Sharon Bialek, a woman employed by the National Restaurant Association’s Educational Foundation in the late 90s, accused Herman Cain of inappropriate sexual contact today in a press conference with celebrity attorney Gloria Allred.
Bialek said she first met Cain when employed by the NRA as a manger of industry relations. She lost her job there shortly thereafter, and at her boyfriend’s suggestion, arranged to meet Cain in D.C. over coffee in 1997 to discuss her career. She told Cain what hotel she would be staying at; when she arrived, she had been upgraded to a suite, which she later found out had been through his doing, although she says she was not aware of that at the time. Cain also switched their meeting to a restaurant. After eating, Bialek said the two drove over to the National Restaurant Association headquarters; she assumed he would show her the offices.
“He suddenly reached over and he put his hand on my leg, under my skirt, and reached for my genitals,” said Bialek of what happened next. “He also grabbed my head and brought it towards his crotch. I was very, very surprised and very shocked. I said, ‘What are you doing? You know I have a boyfriend. This isn’t what I came here for.’ Mr. Cain said, ‘You want a job, right?’ I asked him to stop and he did. I asked him to take me back to my hotel, which he did, right away.”
Bialek said she told her boyfriend and another friend that Cain had been “sexually inappropriate” to her at the time, but said she had not detailed what occurred.
Bialek, identified by Allred as a registered Republican, said she saw Cain again about a month ago at a Tea Party conference in the Chicago area. She asked him if he remembered her. “He acknowledged that he remembered me from the foundation, but he kind of looked uncomfortable,” Bialek said. “He said nothing as he was whisked away for his speech by his handlers.”
As noted, before the press conference began, the Cain campaign put out a statement saying the allegations were “completely false.”
Couldn’t they find an attractive female to make these claims? It might have been more believeable. I mean we are talking about an extremely good looking man here. Really.
Or already arrived at the Nat’l Restaurant Association headquarters.

Nice, I guess any smear job is acceptable as long as you, wrongly, can kid yourself it helps your candidate.
Helping the Media lynch Cain will not help your candidate. Might as well get that thru your head right now.

And in case you haven't noticed...my candidate has had absolutely nothing to say in this matter. Herman Cain tried to smear him but he did nothing to add to Cain's problems.
And she’s good looking and still looking for a Job...a better job, guaranteed by the DNC and friends.

Let’s pretend this is true, for a moment.
Young lady approaches you, and tells you what hotel she’s staying at. She wants to ‘visit’ with you. You take her out to dinner, then she wants to go for a drive with you.
You make a pass; she resists - you drop the matter.
Now, 17 yrs later; she comes forward - with what? Something that may, or may not have happened. At worst, you are accused of being a horrible seducer.

Then, there's the fact that she said they just parked on the street. It doesn't seem to fit.
No, it would have been a courtesy upgrade given at his request, with no 14-year-later record of it. It was still paid for by the boyfriend and booked in her name.
Why would you pull down a woman’s head to your crotch if your pants were on? Expecting her to open the zipper with her teeth?
I heard her on Hannity’s replay. Voice stress says she’s lying through her teeth. All the markers are there.

Ignoring the first part of your post, since when does making a move on an adult woman constitute a “mistake”? Might be an issue between spouses or BF-GF, but noting more.
If she’s telling the truth as you say, then she got hit on by a person who wasn’t her boss, her pastor, her high school principal. And since she claims to have had a “boyfriend” that rule out being lesbian, which would put here in a protected class.
There’s no “mistake” here. In fact, there’s nothing here at all.
Then what is in those affidavits, Ms. Allred?
NOTHING.
The fact that the woman told so-and-so in general terms that something supposedly happened. No details.
No wonder Allred wouldn't distribute copies of the affidavits.
