“All ya gotta do is lie”.... Bill Clinton
Something does not pass the smell test.
She is supposedly a radio ad exec. In that job she has to be making cold calls and reaching out to literally hundreds of people per week, or she’d starve.
And yet nobody has heard of her? And she only has ONE contact on her professional LinkedIn profile?
This is looking like a hit job.
Cain is conservative and very well could beat Obama, so he needs to be taken down by any means possible.
No past, eh? That means they’re hiding something.
I’m no big wig in my TP groups but any number of people would at least recognise my picture.
I remember her. She’s every big blond in the bar looking for a ride home at closing time.
Agree... First question that came to my mind was: Who’s paying Allred? I’m sure she doesn’t come cheaply. As usual, follow the money... Hey, Mark Block, quit puffing and actually do your job!!
I’ll leave it to the MSM to fully research and report on all this woman’s past even unto elementary grade school playmates..............
I’ll say this again...
In today’s media-centric world, THE TRUTH JUST DOES NOT MATTER, the meme does.
The meme has now been solidly established. You have been witnessing Herman Cain being “PALIN’D” for a week now.
She has about as much of a verifiable past as Obama. Anyone surprised?
Why? Because it discredits all that they (the left/elites) fear in one, fell swoop. Tea Party, black conservative(s), etc.
As of now, there is no there there.
She has about as much of a verifiable past as Obama. Anyone surprised?
I hope she is seriously thinking how this will affect her children. Does she have just the one 13 yr-old or three??
Another ?? for inquiring minds re the actual allegations: If Ms. Baliak was a low level employee at a very large organization who was let go, doesn’t it seem fishy that she was able to call up the President/CEO of the organization and invite him to dinner to discuss her future job possibilities?
When you scrub; you are most likely lying.
Brietbart’s “Big Government” site just posted an article confirming that she attended TeaCon 2011.
Not sure what that (in itself) means, but thought folks on this thread might find it of interest.
The only way they win, is if conservatives and republicans jump on the bandwagon.
It appears that all too many are happy to do that.
I guess for some, the end justifies the means. Some are thinking who cares if Cain really did it, let’s use it to boost our candidate.
All I can say is, God cares about the means, as much as the ends.
Image search for TeaCon Midwest 2011....
It wasn’t a large event, not an actual Tea Party but a smaller event for leaders.. Should be easy to scan the crowd.
I’ll bet her grade school playmates remember her very well.
maybe she’s confusing Cain with Jesse Jackson
I thought the Tea Party was launched by Rick Santelli of CNBC in early 2009. So, how could this woman have attended a Tea Party gathering in 2006??? Any answers, Freepers???
Paid actress and pond scum lawyer
Bump your comment!
Herman needs to find himself a good PI. Hell, I’ll help pay for it.
She's been on the payroll for the last twenty plus years...
I wonder if she isnt someone willing to go before the press in place of the other women. Even if in the hopes the others will come out too now.
We have to believe her since women never lie.
Pray for America
Yeah, to liberals they all look alike.
You are right. Engaged my computer before I engaged my brain!!!! Sorry!!! I just am so enraged by this woman, IMHO, a street tart at best!!! Sad!!!
I'm not a geek; I would bet that it takes serious money to scrub yourself from the internet. *Kind of like how a guy named Hussein O. did his.
It’s easier now to see why Sarah Palin bowed out, isn’t it.
The Democrats would steal the pennies from the eyes of their dead mothers to buy flowers for prostitutes. They are capable of anything.
Ok... Tin foil hat on:
The Tea-party event in Chicago was held in October 2011. By then, Herman Cain’s numbers were rising and he had established himself as a front runner in the campaign.
I am questioning why the historical information about the accuser has been scrubbed from the internet. Could it be that she is NOT a Tea Party member or a Republican at all? How crazy would it be to think that she attended the Tea Party event while planning this attack on Herman Cain (to lend her story credibility)?
Tin foil hat off...
The best part of all of this is that none of these women can prove anything. Instead, they want Cain to prove their allegations for them. This one says, “Cain needs to come clean”. Since when did we become a Nation of laws that requires the accused needs to prove the accuser’s case?
It's time to destroy he, she, it. Swift Boat time.
Nobody commenting on this Cain affair was actually there so we cannot say for certain what actually happened. However, this may be another example of the left not being in touch with the age of Wikileaks, the internet, and Glasnost. Eighty years ago the leftist media could conceal the greatest genocide of its time. Today a bogus document is exposed within minutes. Twenty years ago John Tower’s nomination for secretary of defense was torpedoed by Leslie Stahl who reported that Tower had danced naked on a grand piano with a Russian-ballerina. Bod Woodward reported that “reliable sources” said that Tower was drunk and fondled a female airman. His reliable sources turned out to be one source who happened to be a psychiatric case. Tower’s nomination was defeated. I suspect that this woman is a fraud. If that is the case she will be exposed shortly.
Sure, it does, if she's trying to use her old connection to shake down Cain for some reason.
Why did her boyfriend, lo all those years ago, suggest she ask Cain for a meeting in Washington, outside business hours, to "ask for a job" or help getting her old job back? (Why did she lose her job at the NRA in the first place?)
Did she try to make trouble for Cain then and still had it in her to try to stalk him when he visited Chicago recently?
There are many reasons Cain could have "looked uncomfortable" (if true) when he saw this woman at an event. And they don't all have to do with him being guilty of anything or otherwise in the wrong.
We had a guy in Nevada, Scott Ashjian, run in a 3rd party as a shill “against” Harry Reid in the last election. He called his party, the “Tea Party”, much to the dismay of actual Nevada Tea Party supporters. He was a total fraud who was only running to help confuse voters who supported the Tea Party movement and might be voting for Sharron Angle, the conservative Republican. His real goal, which he accomplished was to help Harry Reid win reelection. He did show up at one Tea Party event to provide an appearance of support for the movement, but that was it. He was not at all active in the Tea Party movement. He spent most of his time during the campaign attacking Republicans.
It wouldn’t suprise me one bit to find out that his woman was attending a conservative event in order to give some credibility to her claim, just as the fake candidate Scott Ashjian attended a Tea Party event to appear as if he were “one of us.
Did any of these allegations come up during his senate campaign?
She was the manager for industry relations. Which doesn’t sound to me like a low-level job.
What if she went there in an attempt to meet up with Cain and “ask for help” with her career? And he rebuffed her? Or she went there to meet up with Cain to try to shake him down for something she’d tried to set him up with decades ago?
Attendance at one Tea Party convention doesn’t necessarily say much about one’s intentions or worldview. Especially when she knew Cain would be there and she made an effort and succeeded in approaching Cain personally there.
One of our FReepers hit the nail on the head. If Cain had done this to me, I certainly would not be seeking him out at a Tea Party rally.
This woman is a liar.
I suspect you’ll be waiting a very long time....
This is a moral issue, not a criminal issue.
On moral issues, I encourage people to go with their gut after reviewing all information available. There is NO obligation whatsoever to presume someone’s innocence once an allegation is made. In fact, it is stupid to do so in many instances (if a person is accused of child molestation, would you leave your kid with him because he is “innocent until proven guilty”?)
When the state wants to impose criminal penalties (always because of a moral breach), then I am glad the GOVERNMENT has to presume innocence until guilt is proven (but that is NOT the standard for private citizens).
