The best part of all of this is that none of these women can prove anything. Instead, they want Cain to prove their allegations for them. This one says, “Cain needs to come clean”. Since when did we become a Nation of laws that requires the accused needs to prove the accuser’s case?

Slow down.

This is a moral issue, not a criminal issue.

On moral issues, I encourage people to go with their gut after reviewing all information available. There is NO obligation whatsoever to presume someone’s innocence once an allegation is made. In fact, it is stupid to do so in many instances (if a person is accused of child molestation, would you leave your kid with him because he is “innocent until proven guilty”?)

When the state wants to impose criminal penalties (always because of a moral breach), then I am glad the GOVERNMENT has to presume innocence until guilt is proven (but that is NOT the standard for private citizens).
