Nah. My advice up to know has been shut up to anonymous accusers. Unfortunately, someone showed up with a face. Now he needs to go directly at it, take questions, and have a consistent story that won’t have to be walked back or modified in coming days. A “the media is against me story” is good for fundraising, but won’t stop the bleeding.
Listen, I hate to break it to you, but Cain handling this poorly makes ALL conservatives look bad. This crap is burying our message. It has to be nipped in the bud.

"All that is out there"? Are you serious? Unfounded leftist attacks on the most conservative Republican in the race is "all that is out there". I understand and expect such things to be effective in swaying the minds of the left, but I can't understand why they would be effective in swaying any thinking person who is on the right. Good show.

What names? And what about all those “names”, including plenty of women some of whom worked very closely with him that say no way this happened. Somebody would know. With the exception of one anonymous woman and some lawyer who say they saw Cain being to friendly at this party (unfortunately the “everyone” he said saw this didn’t), there are no more witnesses. In fact after they made the “I saw it” accusations they had to admit they never SAW this woman get in a cab with Cain. Would he be in a cab and not a limo as one would expect of a CEO? The allegations would have been proved to have merit. They didn’t.

I think the first 3 allegations were probably weak and looked like they were only after money, so they did not want to come forward with those. Let people “think” they were all as bad as this one. I bet someone offered money (who's that playboy magazine guy who offered money with dirt on republicans) to anyone who would come out against Cain. After 2 bankruptcys & taking her baby's dad to court for child support, she needed money bad. Wonder if she can be paid a higher amount to tell the truth? Or is she evil, just like the rest of the left?
