Bill Curtis has huge credibility. He says he thought “Cain is dead” until he got on the elevator and talked to some people who worked with her. He says a lot more will come out about her.
I have a hunch this woman craves publicity. She has mental problems. And Allred got duped because she wanted this to be true so bad.

Kurtis says that he wouldn’t be surprised if it comes out that Bialek came on to Cain, not the other way around, given her history and the tales people in the corridors of CBS Chicago are telling about her (she worked for CBS).
Which is about what I suspected. It made little sense for her to pay for a flight to Washington just to talk primly with Cain. She went there intending to sell herself in return for a job and Cain wasn’t willing to let himself be played. She went home embarrassed and ashamed. But now she sees a chance to turn that debacle into a remunerative gig.
And Cain can’t accuse her of being the aggressor and instigator without agreeing that he and she were together. If he admits to that, everyone (well, in the chattering classes) will believe her, not him.
Unless he can prove that she came on to him. As long as it’s he said she said, he loses if he ever admits that they did meet in Washington when she wanted help finding a job.

Very intriguing. I wish he’d expound on that. He’s not the same Bill Kurtis who was producer of A&E TV, is he? That one also hosted an investigative reports show there.
