Going through the story that was laid out in the press conference today by Sharon Bialek, Levin has found a few ‘problems’ that necessitate more information. He said earlier in the show that he was unable to get Gloria Allred to book her client on his show, so he’s basically left with just questions that need answers. One such question is why, after Cain had already ‘upgraded’ Bialek’s hotel room and then took her out to eat at an Italian restaurant would Cain then ask Bialek why she was meeting with him. Another question would be why he took her to the NRA to show her around if she had already worked there before? And there’s more.
Levin makes clear he’s not suggesting one way or the other the potential outcome of this story, who is guilty and who isn’t, but that he just believes her story doesn’t quite make sense and thus he would like to ask her a few questions.

Yep, the Paulbots are all over this one on the local Tea Party Blogs as well. In addition to knowing where the next pay per vote straw poll is located, they are also all over the developing nuclear capabilities thing is saying he did not know that China had nuclear weapons.
The only hotel that fits her description (two blocks from the White House) is the Willard House. Suites there range from $500 to $1,700 per night, plus taxes. Cain forked out that much cash for a woman who was with her boyfriend? Yeah, right.
Obviously the fact that Hewitt wrote a book titled “A Mormon in the White House?” is a tip off. But Medved has been the worse offender.
Oh, and I guess your buddy RuPaul, hero to Islamo-Nazi Iran, is the greatest thing since sliced bread, eh ?

And of course when she says WTF? he just says "okey doke" and kindly drives her back to his expensive suite and drops her off.
I think the question is -if he paid that much money for her upgrade, why the heck would be trying to do it in the car when he had a luxury suite?

I feeling pretty hopeless earlier then, I read what Bill Kurtis had to say. I'm feeling a whole lot better now!
This has made me see, though, that I need to be more involved. I was asked to help out with the Cain campaign for my neck of the woods. I thought being in charge was too much work for me to handle but, I think now I'll do it. I'd feel horrible if I didn't do all I could.

If people don’t vote for Cain because of these unsubstantiated, unprovable rumors, then we don’t deserve our country back. We deserve leaders like Obama and his ilk.
Yes. It’s either a potentially cheating husband herman Cain, or Obama. Who also cheats. With men. That is your choice here, moderates and conservatives and independents. Romney may be a faithful husband but he wont beat Obama.
They tried to get Cain last week. It backfired. Now they are trying harder. Will we give up the fight?
Why was her boyfriend staying in NJ waiting for her? She lived in Chicago. Didn’t her boyfriend? If he took the trip with her why weren’t they staying together in D.C.?
I listened to her statement again and she said she stayed at the Capitol Hilton. I don’t imagine “palatial suites” were cheap there either even in ‘97.
Actually they would go along with it if Cain knew the management. It wasn’t far from the offices and it’s possible the NRA used the hotel.
I worked in 4-5 star hotels for 30 years. We got these request all the time and accomodated.

Thanks for the correction. That puts the hotel closer to the NRA HQ than the White House. She could easily have walked.
You’re kidding!?! Guess I’ll stay out of those death traps then and stick to Motel 8s. That’s a real good way to get your guests killed or raped.

You guys do realize that this is going to keep coming till they sink Cain. Even if they all get debunked the energy the media will use (with tacit support from others in the GOP) to keep the stories about Cain to three things:
1) Cain responded to an earlier allegation.
2) Cain is ignoring an earlier allegetaion.
3) Wow! Here is yet another allegation! That makes seventeen for Cain! Roundtable for half an hour with four talking heads about how he is sunk!
People in Iowa will turn on him after a certain point. The only chance Cain has is to somehow get some hard evidence linking a rival campaign or the DNC to a pay-out or a total fabrication of one or more of the stories. If he can do that he’ll be bullet proof, otherwise I’m afraid it will be time to pick a new anti-Romney.
