Coast to Coast radio had someone on less than an hour ago who said he had 2 separate reports that Vandenburg AF Base is launching something very, very soon regarding this asteroid.

Well at least they are seeing it BEFORE its approach. I recall a few years ago a fairly large asteroid was only discovered AFTER it had passed by earth - and closer to us than the moon!

There was a large earthquake in Taiwan this evening (6.9). Who knows, the comet may be pulling at our gravity. It will be interesting to see if there are additional seismic activity in the next few days.
