I think one term is all anyone should get. I’m tired of them campaigning on the taxpayer dime. I also have to go along with Ben Franklin that we shouldn’t pay our politicians for serving the country. It’s too bad that we’re locked into the system we have. Political office should be run like a jury system.

Hillary would probably kill him, if he got a third term while she got denied the chance to run. And, is that a bad thing? 2 for 1; 2 for 1 out of the race.

Bill Clinton reminds me of nothing more than a case of Genital Herpes. Horrendously painful, unspeakably disgusting, then it goes away and just when you think you’re rid of it, it comes back, and worse than ever.

Well fortunately for all of us Bill the Constitution won’t allow 3 terms. We fought a war in 1776 to get away from Kings.

Ive always though that should be the rule, Always? Always? Did XXX-42 say that in 1988 to allow Reagan to run for a third term?

With that system the incumbent would be in campaign mode from day one. We have just experienced three years of Obama post-innagural campaigning.

22nd AmendmentAnother prime example of how the Republicans managed to shoot themselves in the foot.
"Term Limits" is a horrible idea. Let's not allow our hatred for dems to carry this any further.

FDR was THE REASON for the 22nd Amendment! Not only is the 22nd a roadblock to tyranny, we need a complementary amendment that covers all Federal Officeholders. It is a disgrace that we have a US Senate whose 21 longest “serving” (read lining their pockets) have a combined “service” of about 520 years!
