Words matter in matters of race and sex. Herman Cain probably knows this better than anyone. In fact he made a point of correcting David Gregory’s chosen vernacular on “Meet The Press” when he told the moderator that he preferred to be called ‘black’ as opposed to ‘African’ -American in the context of defining his race. What if some dame falsely accused you of sexual anything? Supposing you were in the4 public eye. How would you handle that (presuming that you, too, are innocent). Anyone who has watched him closely and read his great book, “This is Herman Cain”, and who was brought up by such great parents as he was,fine knows by now the character of this gentleman.

By whom? By what standard? By the guy who thought Cain asking, "Darlin', would you doctor my tea for me?" was inappropriate? By someone who thought they might be fired soon so they used the sexual harassment card?
The problem is that women seem to be able to claim nearly ::anything:: is sexually inappropriate or, even better, makes them "uncomfortable." Just like the race card, the sex card makes the whole exercise meaningless.

I remember while I worked at Citicorp from an older friend of mine about TRUE sexual harassment and what she went through. For me it was mind boggling as to what was allowed to go on.
If any new girl at our office ever heard me, a couple of other gals and our boss talking and laughing about stuff, we'd ALL be sued.
Last week, my boss was telling me, my co-worker and our book keeper a joke. He stopped in the middle and asked "can I say a dirty word?". He did that for the book keepers sake. If it was just my co worker and I, he knew there would be NO reason to stop and ask.
Heck, he could sue US for sexual harassment for what we put him through!!

WSB is by far the biggest dog in the Atlanta talk market. And, it's signal is strong over most of North Georgia (actually, I've gotten it all the way in Anniston, Alabama during the daytime).
Their competitor's signals fade once you get outside of Atlanta proper.
On the other hand, I imagine the NY talk stations have more competition from other talk outlets.
Regardless of whether he is unfaithful to his wife or has a disregard for women in general, my problem with the man is strickly intuitive.
I flat out have a bad sense of this person.
I’m glad you have a happy work environment. This stupid stuff with Cain (a man with a genuine sense of humor - something women often lack or misunderstand) is going to have a very bad effect on the workplace. So glad I’m out of it, lol!

All of Georgia doesn't have two-thirds of the NYC Metro population. WABC has enormous range. I remember getting it in Indiana in the daytime when I was a kid. (Traveling with my father and hoping to listen to Mets baseball then.)
